User Reviews
The his game has been extremely helpful with my journey to leading Japanese. It is honestly a very good learning device. 10/10 recommended.
Thank you for creating this app and making it cheap. As someone who struggles with money but genuinely excited to learn, I’m deeply grateful.
I am more than happy to support this team. I’ve been playing on Steam. Don’t let the graphics fool you. So far this is the best, most engaging learning app of all the ones I have used. Light years better than Duolingo (which is waaaaay overrated). Better than bento, Kama, innovative language learning (which are also quite good).
Very well structured and fun to play. The best part is that the developers continue to update it, so it grows in value over time. And do check out BAND-MAID that’s mentioned in the game!
I’ve used several Japanese learning apps. This app is is very well polished. Every corner of the app was mindfully created. Don’t rent your software. Own it!
This game is perfect for anyone wanting to learn Japanese so much fun and I just started playing get this game don’t hesitate!
I love this game needs more people to invest 🤯💯💯
Really nice and well made but I would like it to have an intermediate mode or progress more
I really like it so far
Great to use as an extra fun way to study! I’m a beginner, but I’d like to think this game would help me at least get through the airport in Japan. Highly recommend. Radicals and brush strokes aren’t taught but common phrases and public spaces kanji are and that’s very real world applicable too!
This is the single best app in my opinion for Japanese. It has everything you need to learn with easy to follow explanations. I’m still working on understanding a few things like ru verbs and stuff, but they explain it in a way that you understand it. You just have to get used to it and memorize. There are a hand full I have gotten used too, which is a huge upgrade from any other learning tool I’ve used. You can also feel the love and effort the devs put into it. You can tell that they have a true passion for Japanese. Thank you for all your hard work you have done on the game. I do have a few questions though. 1. Is there a way you can put a Japanese age on the game. Basically, it shows the age of your knowledge. It would let people know the extent of what they can do in a real life scenario. Ex: the age for books/manga you could read to keep up on your studies. I think it would be very helpful. 2. Do you plan on doing things that teach Japanese for rpgs. Cause some games have very complex kanji that even Japanese people might have trouble with. Maybe as a Easter egg thing, where you have to go out of your way to find and learn. Or making a sequel to Wagotabi that’s about gaming. (If not, I understand. It’s probably a idea not many people learning will be interested in.) Sorry for the long post, I’ve been thinking about this for a while.
A fun and immersive Japanese language learning game. Some parts, like the timer on the bosses, I found frustrating but after reaching out to the team they sent back an email in a few hours. There’s actually a settings button in the user profile that controls a lot of different features.. including timers. Highly recommended!
