Thousands of companies have tried to build the social media that actually has a business model and yet can compete with Instagram and not do all the social media things killing society and rotting our brains. BeReal failed but had some things going everyone else failed. Retro has figured it out. Imagine Instagram but it’s only the top 10 or so people you really care about. And elements of scrapbooking and one second day are thrown in and it’s crazy low effort to maintain. And it’s authentic like bereal yet not a bunch of ridiculous TV and toilet photos (we do ultimately want the highlights of our friends lives). Speaking from a background in Silicon Valley tech, I must say that the designers at retro are world class. Everything is *chefs kiss*.

Encourages you to ray close to friends

I’ve had such a great experience using Retro this summer that I genuinely wanted to leave a review. Out of all the photo apps I’ve tried, Retro has become my favorite because it makes every picture feel special. Instead of just taking another photo that gets forgotten in my camera roll, Retro gives each moment a nostalgic, authentic feeling that reminds me of looking through old family photo albums. One of my favorite things about the app is how it encourages me to capture real memories instead of worrying about getting the “perfect” picture. Whether I’m at the beach, watching the sunset, hanging out with friends, surfing, or spending time with my family, Retro makes every photo look like it belongs in a scrapbook of my summer adventures. The vintage film style is beautiful without looking overdone, and every picture feels unique. This summer has been one I’ll always remember, and Retro has helped me preserve those memories in a way that no other app has. Looking back through my photos already brings back the feelings of warm evenings, road trips, beach days, and all the little moments that usually get forgotten. The app makes me appreciate taking pictures again because it focuses on memories rather than likes or filters. The app is also incredibly easy to use. Everything is simple, clean, and intuitive, so I can spend more time enjoying the moment instead of editing photos for hours. The image quality is excellent, and I love the surprise of seeing how each photo turns out with the vintage aesthetic. I recommend Retro to anyone who loves photography, making memories, or simply wants their photos to feel more meaningful. It’s easily one of the best apps I’ve downloaded this year, and I know I’ll continue using it long after summer ends. I absolutely love Retro! It allows me to stay in touch with all my friends and family without having a super public profile, I highly recommend this app. Retro is the future of social media 💕 keep up the good work

I haven’t been using this app for a while but I already like it I can see what my friends are doing without worrying about any creepy people spying on me and so far I haven’t had to pay for things that are needed sure they would be nice to have but I can enjoy the app without having to spend any money

I have really enjoyed using this app. It is so great to be able to share pictures of my life with friends and see what is going on in theirs in a very private way. I love that only my friends can see my posts and I don’t have to worry about random people seeing them. Retro has been a blast to use!

So much better than Instagram

I love this app, 10/10 everything I wanted as a girl who quit social media a million times but missed being able to put my photos somewhere. BUT how cool would it be if you guys were able to add music feature with Spotify and Apple Music? That would make this app a million times more enjoyable, but still, this app is perfect
