I used this application from 2014 to 2016 in my teenager years where I was the best in shape phase in my life so now I’m 27 and I’m going back to this application again because for me I feel to be in the losing weight mode I should have this application on my phone, during that years I used different applications like Fitness pal and carb manager, but none of them was as good as Noom. I have no compliance and no motivation with any other app so for me that application is bonded to my childhood to my happy days and to the best in shape mode I was ever been and hopefully I’m going back to a better version of myself by Noom.
They charged me $149 the day I signed up and the GLP1 never shipped
the download is hard to do
The application fails often on iOS. There is actually no way to contact your coach, even though you’re paying for the service. Your coach chat and virtual assistant will be grayed out. It will show as an archived conversation and not permit you to send any messages to them. You can try chatting and waiting for an actual person to go into the chat. That is at least 30 minutes or never.
Excellent platform - it truly works and I’ve achieved results I was looking for. Now I’m in the habit of logging meals, and doesn’t feel like a huge burden. Highly recommend.
BEWARE. My app has been dysfunctional for over 5 weeks and the company hasn’t fixed it and will provide no compensation for the loss of use “because I purchased through Apple subscription”. The T&Cs say the company has no responsibility for the app to actually work.
The noom app is pretty good but I wish the glp-1 tracking and support feature was available to anyone paying for a subscription, even if you don’t get your medication through noom. It feels like a huge gap in service to only provide that support if someone purchases meds directly from noom. I’m already paying enough for my membership.
Noom has provided an all encompassing app to provide education, support and motivation to develop a healthier lifestyle and relationship with food.
Very very encouraging really gives you hope
I appreciate the week rounded care and support from the app. I definitely am motivated to make better choices for myself and the accountability tools are very helpful. I do like to track daily fiber intake but the nutrition tracker doesn’t do that. Overall I say this is one of the best supports I’ve had with my GLP-1 journey.
