Description

Improve your ear for tuning and intonation with this beautiful app. • Improve your musical intonation — one of the most important skills a musician can have. • Leverage 25 years of academic research on how to train intonation. • Track your progress and compete on Game Center. • Add on beautiful instrument sounds, including piano, guitar, violin, cello, clarinet, banjo, flute, French horn, trombone, and trumpet. WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING “A brilliantly simple game of precision hearing…ingenious. It will absolutely help you develop a more discerning ear.” — Voice Council Magazine “Very easy to use…a fun and useful addition to your practice toolbox.” — Horn World “There are a number of ear training apps available for the iPhone, but InTune has actual science to back it up.” — discchord “I have your app on my phone and love it!!!” — David P. Schurger, orchestra director, Indiana “Excellent...it’s made a remarkable difference this past year in my ability to rehearse complex 20th and 21st century music!” — Paul Piazza, conductor/composer, LA THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE APP InTune began as a way for researchers to test pitch discrimination, the ability to differentiate pitches that are close together. But then researchers discovered that musicians improved the more often they played – 3x faster than those who didn’t. Download for free and see if InTune works for you! HELP US IMPROVE! ★★★★Could be even better🇺🇸 US

Really nice app! Just missing a couple things that would make it perfect: 1) Let users start at (or even stay at) any level. It feels like waste of time getting through the lower levels each time. Would rather spend that time actually practicing. 2) Please consider adding a "same pitch/in tune" option (along with higher and lower)! I've found I've gotten good at distinguishing sharp versus flat in the app, but I have a lot of trouble distinguishing slightly flat versus in tune, which is a big barrier when tuning and adjusting intonation in the real world.

★★★★Each instrument costs an additional dollar🇺🇸 US

For a simple game, it’s not worth $23 extra to use all the instruments. $1 is honestly too much for the entire app as it is

★★★★★Great app!🇺🇸 US

I love that now there’s a way for me to fine tuning my hearing. And I love how simple it is. Great job!

★★★★★Fun and great training🇺🇸 US

This app is totally addictive and my scores are gradually getting higher, so I know my ear is learning. I got it to improve my intonation on guitar string bends. It’s early in the process, but I’m optimistic.

★★★★App Freeze🇺🇸 US

the app will freeze mid round and make you restart app

★★★★Great but…🇺🇸 US

This is an amazing app. I’m a teacher and use it with my classes regularly. But the old version with a static starting pitch should be an option!

★★★★★Best intonation app🇺🇸 US

Great app. Could be better with enhanced features such as selectable pitch differences but overall, very useful.

★★★★Great app, bad flute sound🇺🇸 US

I really enjoy this app, and it’s great practice for hearing intonation. However, I purchased the flute sound, and it’s absolutely horrendous. It sounds like a dying goat. Disappointed that I spent money on that sound, but I guess I’ll continue just using the pure tone for now.

★★★★★Tones.🇺🇸 US

AWESOM DESIGN but you should be able to To limit how high/low it goes and be able to listen to each tone again.

Kris2354· 2024-07-11
★★★★does what it says, although🇺🇸 US

great little ear training app for helping discern lower and higher pitches. The only thing I could wish for is a better sample sound for string instruments, that sounds more like a real instrument.
