After you record a file, you’re probably going to want to trim it. Well, this app gives you no other option but to duplicate the recording and then trim. So, now for each recording you’re taking up twice the space. So, you delete it. Except there’s no option to immediately permanently delete it. You have to navigate to the trash folder and delete that. And then it asks you whether you’re sure if you want to delete it. You cannot disable this message. Doing all of that for every single recording is beyond annoying. I won’t be using this app as a result.

I bought Audioshare two years ago when I moved from violin to electronic production. As an avid and active power user, primarily using my iPad and iPhone to make music, I spend a lot of time in this software. For two years, the SoundCloud upload button when viewing a track has been disabled. I emailed support to ask why this was, and they said that SoundCloud updated their API and actually improved their app. It's now much more effective to upload tracks directly through SoundCloud. The four-button grid on AudioShare includes Mail it, Share it, Copy it via audio copy 3, and the general pasteboard, plus this useless SoundCloud button. I asked what they planned to do with it, but received no response. I followed up in the email thread suggesting they make that a “rename file” button. One of the most common things I have to deal with when looking at files is renaming and organizing them. To rename a file, I have to exit the track, go back to the file list, long hold the file, and then click rename. What's the point? Such a simple functionality could be improved. To see this one of four buttons in the main interface being dead every day was annoying because I’m also a software engineer. This is careless, for your customers and the quality of your product. At any rate, the lack of responsiveness from this team and lack of support for avid users is disappointing. Even though all the big music apps integrate with AudioShare, and it feels like vendor lock-in… In the age of AI-assisted development, I’m sure somebody will build a more modern and even easier version of AudioShare soon.

This app has come in clutch for me since 2019.

My violin and piano playing sometimes gets good enough that I want to hear it over and over.Sometimes send a good piece to someone who will appreciate my music. I use midi music studio to play the pieces until they are good enough to send them to AudioShare. It puts all my many solos in alphabetical order. So quick to find. This app is truly marvelous.

This app is indispensable! The file import and playback options are great and it’s a cool 2-track recorder as well. And it’s completely free, no ads, no nags, no in-app purchases (although I would gladly pay). If you need audio files on your phone that aren’t imprisoned by streaming and podcast platforms, you need this. If you produce music, you need this. It’s not updated a lot, but it doesn’t need them. It just works. It is not an editor, however, but if you need a stand-alone audio player/recorder, you’ve found it.

PROS: awesome functionality, I don’t think anyone else is doing this on iOS - has all the tools you need to sample and modify before using another program like a daw CONS: doesn’t save audio settings like sample rate, measurement mode, and buffer size… if you have a preference on these, you’ll have to update settings frequently.

I use this app all the time to save and sort and edit songs and samples. It is also the best app to quickly record an idea or pattern from other music apps. It is very stable and versatile when doing that. It really IS a Swiss Army knife for audio. Import and export functions are excellent. And it’s stupidly simple, there is zero learning curve which is great when you have a hot idea cooking in another app and just wanna save a track or loop for later. I’ve tried doing that with DAWs and other recorders but by the time you set them up the idea is gone or the other app crashes. I love this thing.

This app is a good audio file manager and plugin. Its not really meant to be an media player because its poor at providing audio player and playlist playback functionality for the Audio Unit. It plays audio and video files, but does not show video. It can convert files to m4a, etc but not to mp3. I need to note, not because of this app, but iTunes sometimes butchers your library data especially when using apps that download iTunes media. If you notice missing music from your library, go into your settings app -> music, then toggle and re-toggle relevant selectors to re sync your iTunes data to your device.

Love the app but please update it!! Please allow auv3 support aswell as the inter app audio since there more auv3 apps available Also please allow iCloud sync and support to save space aswell as sharing among multiple devices on same iOS account like ipad and iPhone without having to physically download and transfer it in a more hassle way. 🙏🙏 please don’t abandon the updates on this app because its so good and needed

長年愛用していましたが、しばらく前から音が小さくなったりして音量を変えてもそれが反映されず同じ音量のままになってしまい、音量0にしても音が消えなくなります。iPad Pro 12.9インチ（M1チップ）で使用しています。改善していただけるようお願いします。
