The drum sounds let you play and manipulate various patterns simply by moving your finger. ■ Loop Sequencer The built-in loop sequencer lets you layer up to five musical parts. To create a track, simply assign a loop such as synth, bass, chords, sound effects, or drums to each part. Fifty loops created by professional musicians are built-in to help you get started quickly. In addition to its track-making capabilities, this loop sequencer is also a great feature for live performance. The Mix Play feature makes it easy to enjoy live remixing; you can switch seamlessly to another loop or extract a specific part from another loop while the playback continues. ■ Audio Export You can record your performance in real time, or export a completed loop as an audio file. By sending your creations to a Mac or PC via iTunes, you can share them with your friends or use them in a full-fledged music production. The loops you create can be uploaded directly to SoundCloud from within the app. If you attach the loop data, it will be shared to other users' loop lists. It’s good and all But it gets no updates
Huh. Wish I could record my voice into this. It’s still amazing without my voice.
I own four versions of the hardware. A Kaossilator, a Kaossilator 2, a Kaoss pad, and the new NTS1 Kaoss. All of the Kaossilators have a gate Arp -except this app -which I have owned since day one and I have contacted Korg at least 15 times regarding this and have updated my review many times. Why can’t they add one? Why is it so hard? Make it an in app purchase and I will buy it. Don’t get me wrong- Kaossilators are all touch screen so it isn’t a huge leap for a touch device and they pulled it off well except for the arp. They even allowed the option of turning of the flashing lights as requested by many users they never listened when users asked for an arp. Gate arp! The 13 th year in a row I have requested.... please!! I did pay full price for this app when it came out, which was quite a bit to pay for an app that many years ago. Come on Korg don’t abandon this app… it still was in the top 200 so people are using it and I paid 20 bucks for this app in the mid 2000s. Actually, it was one of the most expensive apps back then and I own every single app you guys make +15 pieces of your hardware. Add some more sounds in an in app purchase and a gate Arp please
See, that’s a complaint I totally agree with. Otherwise, for free (?) it’s pretty good.
Update: Recent updates have made it so that there is very little contrast between the way an instrument knob appears when muted and when not muted when the instrument is not selected. The colors just do not contrast enough like they used to. This makes it difficult to see, at a glance, which tracks are muted or not. Very annoying. This is the best music sequencer of all time. Period. The included sounds may not be everyone's cup of tea but you will not find a better sequencing workflow anywhere else. You will have so much fun making songs, you will wonder why people think music is difficult. You will try (and fail) to replicate this fun in other music making apps and then come right back to this. There is nothing, NOTHING, more intuitive, more fluid, and more fun for jamming out and putting songs together via software. You've been warned!

This little app is so much fun
If one of the developers could help me with something I would greatly appreciate it. Had a lot of fun playing on this app, but I got a new phone and I don’t know how to get the tracks from my iPhone X to my iPhone 13. I understand that I probably can get Ableton and do it that way, but is there anyway I can get it from phone to phone without downloading or buying Ableton? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Like other reviews have said it’s not incredibly intuitive but once you play around with the app for an hour or so it’s a lot of fun and a generated some great ideas.

The app is great! I like it much better than Kaossilator-2. Please add an arpeggiator to make it the best!
fantastic app! i love how well the app matches the features of the physical kaossilator. except the app needs the ability to control individual instrument volumes. others have left reviews asking for this feature, and i continue the request. i’ve personally convinced five people to buy this app. it’s really great.
