I’ve been using this app for YEARS. It’s my go to for everything bg noise related. I have fallen asleep countless times to the white noise // brown noise mix. I’ve got it tuned to the absolute perfect frequencies - and you can too with this app. It does everything you’d expect and more. You can combine one, two, three, four, five…. Whatever number of sounds together. Decide how they pan, decide the volume of each, just an absolutely genius app that I wish I’d written. Get it. Now.
Been using this app for what must be 10 years now. A few years ago there was an update that made it drain iPad battery. That was bad enough. Now the latest iOS update plus latest version of the app makes it shut off after 1 min of the screen being off. I’ve adjusted every setting I can find, but no luck. Still works on my phone, but I can’t sacrifice my phone battery to being plugged in all night like I did the iPad. This sucks. I don’t want to find a new app.
If you can’t start it with a timer, what good is it?
Best Source for Sounds to Listen to While Relaxing… Has everything you could ever possibly imagine inside as far as sounds go + users are constantly recording their own content and sharing their own experiences with sounds with the world!!! It’s definitely the most powerful sound sharing platform ever created and it’s stock sounds are absolutely fantastic but it’s definitely worth getting into this platform simply because of how much user content is available and created every single day and it’s got a huge library of FREE CONTENT in the White Noise Market App for users of this Pro Version!!!! Unless you leave the screen on, which lights up the whole room, your sound will shut off one minute after shutting off the screen. There are no settings to fix this and when I sent a request for help, it was ignored. Useless if it just shuts off.
As requested in a pop-up message on this app, I am reconfirming my rating above and what I wrote in the following sentences. I work at home, so I use this app to block out household noises and the conversations that tend to be distractions. It is also a sleep aid, especially since I am an early-to-bed kind of guy, and my wife tends to be a night owl. I used to use an app called Simply Noise, but it was not updated to fit the most recent iOS versions. I'm using White Noise Pro, which is much more diverse than Simply Noise and allows an ad-free experience. The developers have combined photos and sound to provide a very pleasing experience. There is a version for Mac, which I also use with satisfaction. A great app.
The ads in the marketplace are shown between every download. And I paid for it. Not ok.

This app used to come with free downloadable sounds. Now the want to nickel and dime you or get you to subscribe. Just another money grubbing company.
I am trying to figure out how to upload sounds I recorded, there is no way that I can find to do it on app or website, and also no way to contact via email for help??
Finally, no playlist limits. This is a wonderful update.
