I've been using this app for some time now and it has helped me experiment with different knots than I normally tie. It's been almost two years since it was last updated; it would be great to see the developer add new features and new knots.
Please add the Eldridge knot
Ok if you are going to charge 1.99 for this and say it includes handkerchief folds.... Don't just include 1! I bought it trying to find a specific fold and wasted my money. PLEASE add more - then it'll be a great app..
I do like that it has so many choices of knots but would like to see maybe real pictures of knots or maybe the finished product. A little hard to visualize some of them in the drawling form it's in.
I have had this app since it came out and simply love it. The different knots give great instructions for tying unique styles allowing you to express your individuality in a professional manner and making yourself appear even more refined for knowing more ways to tie your tie. I have been using the Atlantic knot for 3 years in December and get comments on it nearly every week.
Great way to express your self other then that one lame knot your dad taught you.
OK. Updated version has "mirror" option. Changing my ranking to Downloaded free version. Fine. Liked the "mirror" option toggle under "info" where speed was located. So I buy the premium version only to find the mirror functionality gone. Bring it back and I'll up rating to 5. Without the mirror function I feel misled and will use free version. Should have divulged that shortcoming in premium description. Please FIX IT.
Good app but crashes on overview screen when you flick upwards. Please fix.
After doing both of them repeatedly I still cannot detect a difference between the Italian and the Four-in-Hand knots. Other than that I think this is an app no gentleman should be without. Awesome instructions, and the diagrams are mirrored so they match your reflection, which is very helpful.
