The app lets you control the device from your phone, including editing patches. But it doesn’t let you back up and manage your patches, nor does it provide access to patches developed by anyone other than Zoom. Personally I don’t find it easier to edit patches on my phone than on the device, and given that the phone must be connected by a short USB cable it’s not practical for using on stage.
iPhone 16e にしたのでこのアプリを買ってみました。本体との接続はiPhoneに付いていたものUSB-C→ USB-Cを使いました。本体の電源はACアダプターから取りました。で、使い勝手はパッチファイルの移動が簡単に出来るのでライブで使う順に並べるのが簡単になりました。あと当たり前ですが、色んなエフェクターの調節が楽になりました。買って良かったです。
Too bad we have to pay for this app :(
I had hoped to be able to get a little preview of what it looks like, what patches are available and what additional effects might be available (as pre-purchase research). However, without a device connected it doesn't do anything. Understandable, but it would be cool if they had an "Offline" mode to mock things up. I get why they don't though.
