Tivimax IPTV Player (Premium)

Whatever I’m watching fades out and pauses frequently. So I have to switch to another IPTV Player to complete whatever I’m watching. Additionally, the EPG shows “No Information” for all TV Channels, even after manually downloading the Full EPG. So, instead of drastically changing the appearance of this App recently, which I do not like, the developers should have improved the stability and quality of this App.

Appearance changed with last update where it’s now difficult to read the EPG in TV mode as EPG is now mixed with the show in the background. I like the previous appearance before the last App update, where the EPG & show were separated.

If you’ve ever tried Tivimate on Android (Nvidia Shield etc), you know that it’s is the premier IPTV client for that system. Nothing else comes close. Tivimax - after extensive testing of other clients comes the closest on the Apple/Mac ecosystem. Be warned that development of this app currently and I fear going forward is spotty at best. Developer sporadically visits their Discord page (this is the page they have designated as their official support portal). Bug fix requests are rarely acknowledged or acted on. For example, they recently released an update but that took over a year to happen and there doesnt seem to be any information available as to what was fixed or updated? This is not a cheap $2 app. For $20 I feel it should have MUCH better support response.

Don’t buy this app and avoid it at all costs. These people are not interested in fixing it, nor are they interested in making it usable. Please avoid and find a better use of your money.

This app is expensive, just to have it loose all your settings randomly, and no matter how many times you back it up the backup always fails.

Have tried a lot of IPTV players… Chillio, IPTV Smarters Pro, etc. and I like this the best. If you want an EPG/TV Guide similar to what you get with Cable/Satellite tv - this is the one to beat. Uses M3U and Xtreme feeds.

No use to download if it can’t sync across platforms

The app players are freezing up after a couple of minutes. Have had this as a backup as I use iSTB app which has powerful players. Hafifa your app sucks. You need a complete upgrade. Also after finding a channel for example you cannot save it as favorites.

Picture in Picture seems to not be working now with the new iOS’s. Also would be nice if AirPlay is possible, not screen mirroring but AirPlay casting.

App keeps crashing after restoring from iCloud back up. Won’t load my playlist and then crashes to Home Screen. Everytime. Works fine on Apple TV.
