This app lets you control your hearing aids from your mobile device. It comes with an app for Apple Watch helping you discreetly change programs and adjust volume (when within Bluetooth range). Just a note: some features may be available depending on your hearing aid model. Check below for details. • Adjust the sound volume for each hearing aid together or separately • Mute surroundings for better focus • Switch between programs set by your hearing care professional • Check battery levels • Use SpeechBooster to reduce background noise and enhance speech (available for all hearing aid models except Oticon Zeal™, Jet PX, Zircon, Opn™, Ruby) • Stream calls, music, and podcasts directly to your hearing aids (availability may vary depending on your phone model) • Find your hearing aids if lost (requires location services to always be turned on) • Access app support and troubleshooting solutions • Meet your hearing care professional for an online visit (by appointment) • Adjust streaming sounds with streaming equalizer (available for all hearing aid models except Oticon Opn™ and Oticon Siya) • Adjust sounds around you with sound equalizer (available for Oticon Zeal™, Oticon Intent™ and Oticon Real™ models) • Track your progress with HearingFitness™ feature (available for Oticon Zeal™, Oticon Intent™ and Oticon Real™ models) • Handle wireless accessories paired with your hearing aids such as TV Adapters, Oticon EduMic or ConnectClip • Connect to and adjust an Auracast™ broadcast (available for Oticon Intent™ and Oticon Zeal™ models) First use: You need to pair your hearing aids with this app to use it to control your hearing aids. I reached out to Customer service through the app to troubleshoot an issue and received a quick response and great follow up. Although I was not able to resolve e my issue, they did point me in the right direction.
I have a brand new pair of hearing aids, and the Oticon app has been replaced. It works well. However, nearly every time when I open the app, I am asked to rate and review it. So I have taken to giving it one star every time. I wish there was a way to turn off the incessant need to be rated. It’s an annoyance, since I open the app only when I really need to change something quickly.
I can totally understand what is going on now and hearing things that i have missed out on for a long time.
I recently had sudden hearing loss in my right ear. Dr cannot tell me why , no fluid no infection, but I had a bad sore throat on my right side and then upper respiratory and chest cold…..my device an the app won’t alter the app to make my right hearing aid any louder.
It is very convenient to have hearing aids that are able to connect with your phone, the sound is great and it helps to minimize my tinnitus. Thank you GTO veteran
I had an annual hearing test with ENT Care and afterwards was sent over to see Dr. Julie Ann Rikard with Physicians Hearing Center. She put a hearing aid in my left ear and my eyes filled with tears as I heard her talking. I couldn’t believe what I had been missing! It was as though she had turned on a light in a dark room! I will forever be thankful that she gave me the opportunity to hear remarkably better again! When you have hearing loss, you get tired of asking people to repeat themselves and you find yourself pulling back from any type of conversation. I’m grateful that Dr. Rikard gave me back what I had been missing. Five Stars all the way!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a decent app, but it could be more useful. Some of the options are not explained and their effect is not readily apparent (e.g., Comfort).
Lost my green color hearing aid in grass - the location finder was helpful but for a while it was looking for a needle in a haystack. Would be awesome if you could add a sound enhancement to the location finder.
The connection to my hearing aids doesn’t always appear to work well especially when I walk away from my phone past 15 feet. Sometimes my hearing aids go off automatically which is very disturbing.
Except for hearing some very light background noise occasionally (which can be controlled and minimized using the app ) I’m Very satisfied
