TB Flowtones Virtual Analog Synthesizer app and AUv3 plug-in Thanks to it's true VA synthesis engine, the use of analog-modelled non-linear filters and extensive modulation options, Flowtones sounds warmer and more analog than digital romplers and wavetable-based synths. TB Flowtones comes as stand-alone app as well as AUv3 plugin. True virtual analog synthesis features: - 4 VCO architecture (two voice layers with two VCOs each) - 4 synthesis engine types, in part modelled after famous analog synthesisers - 36 analog VCO waveforms featuring all classic waveforms and more - All VCO waveforms support pulse width modulation - Full stereo and mono unison modes for each VCO independently - Noise and subharmonic oscillators for each VCO - Unique ring and self-modulation matrix - High-quality, warm, non-linear filters (VCF) with over 30 filter types, including unique multi-resonance filters Modulation features: - Four LFOs with 30 waveforms each - LFOs can modulate other LFOs, including themselves! - Three additional envelope generators, with key velocity modulation - Quick access to modulation strengths through context menus - Hundreds of modulation signal paths available - LFOs can produce noise as waveform to randomly modulate other parameters; for example to simulate slight variations in analog filter parameters as they happen in analog circuits. One of the absolute best synths that I keep coming back to over and over. Great sound, interface, and features for sound designers and people who want to learn also. Highly recommended
Can you Please add a star favoring system to presets? I’m sure everyone will find this very helpful.
This synth has amazing potential. The waveforms, oscillator features, ring modulation, filters, and fx are amazing! Even the formant filter so fun to use, and the modulation routings are extensive. Other than the lack of sync options, it sounds very close to my Novation Nova. I can’t wait to see what will be in the next update. I would love to modulate the LFO speed with the envelopes, and there need to be waveforms based on oscillator sync. Ring modulation between layers and serial filter routings would also be appreciated. ToneBoosters is one of the best app developers period!
True Analog sound. Super lightweight and solid. Used it for hours without a single unwanted glitch. Superb. Excellent work DEV or DEVs. Now just waiting for the VA drum synth from TB;-)
Very powerful razor sharp sounds, unexpected quality fit for drum and bass or dem or anything really. Another quality synth for cheap as chips iOS prices! So happy with plug-ins on iOS and this one sticks out
…and extensively tweaking some presets. Rolled a few sound of my own and am starting to warm up to it. All of the harsh, blipity, digital crunchy presets are just not my cup o’ tea, I guess. But even those sounds are easily manipulated into something more my tastes with simple envelope and filter tweaks. The unison knob is just too tempting…really fattens it up. The UI is pretty friendly and easy to navigate. Quite nice effects. Formant bit is a blast. Okay, I’ll give it another shot.
Fully featured and most importantly sounds FANTASTIC!
This is my new favorite synth by light years. These TB developers are so smart, so forward thinking. You guys really did a great job on this synth and it sounds so beautiful, interesting and it’s super versatile once you wrap your head around the workflow. 10 stars.
Loving the sounds you can get with this beast! One thing can you add a way to have favorite patches or a rating option? Didn’t see this anywhere with my initial play around.
