Easy to set up and it worked fine my first try.
I’m running v1.6 Log and ProTimer BT (latest firmware). I cannot see a way to pull into Log previous strings on the timer, just the last string. This makes the app unusable if the timer ever gets out of range of the tablet (common during practice) or to load legacy strings. And what is the import format? I tried to import csv output by PT Link: no error message but no data.
I was able to try out the new release at the range today and it is definitely an improvement so I’ve raised my rating from 2 to 3 stars. The issue with duplicate entries appears to be resolved and I’m hopeful that the issue with losing saved notes and tags is also fixed, although I need to do some more testing first. I did notice that a few strings from the timer did not get saved to the app. The common denominator appears to be that if I don’t open the phone to the app between strings then those strings won’t be saved (even with the ‘push data’ feature enabled). I’m going to email the developer separately with my comments. He’s been very responsive, so if we can figure out what’s going on here then I will raise my rating in the future.
