K7D - Tape Delay

For the price this is top tier. Best delay on iOS sub 20 bucks.

I happen to see this on AppRaven (I have had this app for years) and it’s one of the BEST out there! Don’t get me wrong there are other AMAZING DEEP and VERY good sounding “Tape Delays” but this has the LOOK and FEEL one needs who grew up using 24 tape tricks to get Delays, Flange, Phase etc before all the rack mount gear and pedals and now PLUGINS! I always ask myself, if I had ALL THIS technology back when I was first learning the trade off engineering, how freaking far advanced would I be? Bc let’s face it, bf plugins, effects were big $$$ and no young musician has money! I see all the FREE lessons, all the free guitar scale and chord programs and apps… and I think MY GOD how good would I be? Then I realize, it would be the same as now, bc YES there is so many ways to learn for free… there is also so many KILLER games to play, killer things to check out, so many amazing content videos… that I being ADHD would not have as much knowledge as I have doing it “old school”

Nearly a year ago, I wrote a review for this app and I at least tried to be fair with the devs. It seems that doesn't work in this world, because I tried to get help with this app crashing and nothing works. I use an iPhone 12 mini, and every time I go over 10-15 instruments with the effect, the project completely crashes and either doesn’t open, I have to back it up to EVEN edit the tracks constantly, or it LITERALLY deletes hours to even days of progress depending on the crash. I tried to reach out through email. Got 1 response and was ditched. This was in December of 2024. It's 10 months later, and it’s even worse than it was nearly a year ago. For a paid app, it gets little to no updates and it's really starting to show considering I can’t even use it properly 50% of the time anymore. Either this app was just made for higher-end devices like MacBooks, or it is so outdated that only newer iPhone models can even keep up with this nonsense. Mind you, I tried reaching out through email to get help and got nothing. This is simply ridiculous. The number of times this plugin has erased hours of my progress is almost insane, and just so you know, it really is a good plugin, and I’d love to keep using it, but the amount of whatever space is used that causes all these crashes to happen needs to be fixed.

Hopefully the dev will fix this because otherwise it is a decent delay.

App confirmed to work on my device, iOS up to date, keeps crashing even after rebooting device. Disappointing.

Can’t say enough good things about this delay, it’s everything I need and want in a tape delay effect. My only gripe is that the iPad and iPhone versions aren’t compatible. If you work on a GarageBand session in both places and use this plugin, you’ll have to reload it on every channel when you switch platforms. Otherwise, it’s flawless for me!

I gave this company a rough time at first because of some disagreements but Its refreshing to see a delay engine that does more than just delay. Well done again Imaginando.

Just get it! This plugin has incredible sound quality. Fully featured tape delay for iOS. The interface is beautiful also. Cannot go wrong with this company.

This is my favorite tape delay app and it keeps getting improved and supported, I hope they add the reverse playback option in an update as Nuno mentioned, BTW: BIG THANKS to Nuno Santos its CEO and developer for the constant support and communication!

Awesome app. I have already used this to create some trippy soundtracks for my own STRANGER THINGS soundtrack. I highly recommend this app if you want to be creative.
