The app changes automatically between day and night mode Continuous calculation of best ISO settings based on the last strikes - Original Photo Resolution, no tricks, no interpolation! - Much better detection! - Double-shot , + one image as blend of first and second shot! - New modern design! - For experts: ISO ranges are fully manually adjustable, if wished! iLightningCam 2 uses true real-time recognition of lightning strikes. Once recognized, your iPhone takes a picture of the recognized lightning in up to full resolution. And yes - your iPhone or iPad is fast enough! You only need a good view on a real thunderstorm. The app works free hand. Just point your iPhone towards the scene/part of the sky/thunderstorm where you expect the next lightning, start the iLightningCam 2 and wait, the app will automatically press the trigger if a lightning is detected in your view. I’ve been using this since version 1 back in the 2011, I LOVE THIS APP. Over those years I’ve captured thousands of amazing lightning pictures that I cherish and even got my parents and colleagues to download the app and get into lightning photography. Could not get it focused and not very user friendly. Would not waste your money
I have been using ilightningcam 2 for four years now and it really does work it picks up lightning you won’t be disappointed
I’ve had this app for a long time and it only gets better. Just the other night, i Lightning Cam 2 caught some amazing lightning pics from a storm. I set it up at the window and walk away. What I got was awesome. The improvements to this app make it easy when it’s on ‘auto’. If you can’t get good photos then it’s not the app. I love this app!! I live in a state with frequent summer storms. A+ to the developer. Thanks!
I love this app so much. I’m 12 now and had this app since 2022. I have got great photos and shots. I want more ILightningCam apps in the future. I use a tripod and it works so good. I have the lite version on my iPad and it is not as good, but I like it.😁
I used this app and the previous version for several years and captured stunning photos, but now the app either captures nothing or everything is overexposed.
New to iPhone and this app alone makes me regret making the switch. Not sure why this is the only option. Misses a lot of strikes. The ones it does catch are out of focus.
Very good app design simple and functions well Just grab tripod mount the phone in it and just let app do its job. Simple! Love when the app captures such vivid lightning I don’t know why it is hard for others to use the app
The app is wonderful. Just make sure you have the right settings for the right storm if u don’t pics won’t come out right. Plus phones with better camera fps and quality is a must for this app.
This app was once amazing, not so much. I have had some awesome lightning pics using this app, but not anymore. Last night I seen some amazing streaks of lightning across the sky and all of my photos were just big white blobs. Please make this the greatest app, again!!!
