It would be great if alert warn before earthquake, alert always come after 10mins of earthquake .
Alert received after 15 minutes of earthquake
I have no idea about the time settings. Whether I set it for my local time or UTC there seems to be nothing that makes sense. I wish I knew when they really occur. And it makes me wonder about the other data provided. If the time is wrong are the locations and magnitude also wrong?
Love this app
The concept is great, but frankly I don’t need “critical alerts” from a 2.5 magnitude quake that happened more than 400 miles from where I live. The app needs to allow for a user to select a certain perimeter from where they live, otherwise it’s not useful.
Teaching grandkids about earthquakes, magnitudes and fault lines. This app is easy for them and they now just get on to explore and study
Loving It
Wish you could get notifications just from the 65 mile radius that you can choose. Had an earthquake about an hour w. Had a mild shake that had to be over 4.75. No mention or alert.
Keeps me up to date in such a seismically active state like AK. Also knows where I am anywhere on the planet and automatically adjusts my alerts.
The alerts are useful and help me prepare for the shakes, less fear!
