Dancers, cheerleaders, or anyone who practices music-based routines: Ever get tired of scrubbing in your mp3 player to find a certain spot in the music at practice? I did! So I made a time-saving app just for us! Here's what MixPlay does: - Easily import your routine music from email, Dropbox, a URL, or a purchased downloaded iTunes song (**but Apple does not allow importing from an Apple Music subscription). - Quickly define the sections of your routine. - Play each section in one tap! Scrubbing blows. - Adjust the tempo. - Set it to auto-repeat to drill a section. - Play your music offline. - No music yet? Use our free "Spoken 8-counts" track. * MixPlay does not edit, combine, or create music tracks. Think of how much practice time you'll save, all for the price of a coffee! No landscape view Difficult to select small sections of music Apparently cannot reorder sections and new ones appear at the front by default instead of at the end Deleting within 10 minutes of purchase, $3.99 lost.
I can’t figure out how To import video from camera
This app has helped me so much. I can break down sections at a time or run full outs. It saves me so much time scrubbing through music. It was easy to set up. I use it every single practice!
This app has been a vital tool for my teams warm up and practice time. It has helped me run everything so efficiently, other teams in the gym have asked me about the music app. I am happy to spread the positive word! Mixplay, all the way! I had an issue today due to my new phone and panicked (as cheer coaches do), so I emailed Corey and he responded immediately with extremely helpful info. If you are a coach, do yourself a favor, download this app!
I have used this app for 3-4 years in prep for game cheering and competition! I love ease of import, ease of use, ability to cut sections to focus on certain sections/skills, and the ability to slow down or speed up music as needed! I use this app at every single practice!! The consistency of the play back is great. Yes you cannot mix with this software but you can start your playback from specific sections. My collegiate cheer team uses this app daily. Our dance team uses it consistently.
App name is very deceiving! You cannot mix multiple tracks. You can only “edit” one song which is ridiculously stupid considering it’s called Mix play. Don’t waste your money. I will be seeking a refund. Perhaps you should rethink the name and the price.
Very misleading. I thought I would be able to mash songs together. Not just cut one.
