Overcast gives me what I want most in a podcast app: simple interface, useful customization options, and doesn’t collect heaps of unnecessary user data. Definitely recommend.
Was getting ads on my tv about podcasts I’d listen to on Spotify. Switched to overcast and that doesn’t happen any more!

I came from android and using podcast addict premium since 2010. This app is great. The best podcast app on IOS hands down.
An otherwise good podcast player, but the current version could catch your phone on fire it seems. I’m sure it’s the new transcription feature I don’t want and can’t turn off but who knows. I leave the house and get on 5G and this things makes my phone bake.

This meeting might go app for podcast for a while, and I gladly pay the annual subscription. I particularly find the transcript feature Extreme use useful helping me scrub through podcast and get to what I want quickly. Thanks for this nice addition. If you are looking to try a different podcast app that is optimized for listening give this a try
The transcript feature is extremely well executed (having transcripts for private feed podcasts is awesome). I really wish the queue system worked similar to how it does in PocketCasts and let me reorder it without multiple button presses. I know this probably doesn’t bother people who have used this app for years but this has always bugged me and prevents me from using this app
I really like Overcast, except that it does a weird thing in my car even when the app isn't open. If I take a call in my car and it goes through the speakers but I want it to go through my phone instead, as soon as I hit "transfer call to phone" on my Subaru's screen, Overcast opens in the background and starts playing. This is super annoying as I'm both driving and trying to talk on the phone. I do not appreciate Overcast opening itself and playing without my consent. It happens every single time I take a call and want it to play through the iPhone.
Please make the episodes of Ministries in Touch available for download on TV, because I tried to download an episode and it won't let me. I've left this request a few times in the app review.
