With just your iphone, some bluetack and a bucket (yes really, a bucket!) you can take accurate readings in just a few minutes, for a tiny fraction of the normal cost. The Lite version of the app includes the ability to do single, one off readings of each eye. For the ability to do sequenced averaged testing of the eyes choose the full version.
