Vargo Anesthesia Mega App

I am an SRNA and utilize this app daily at clinical. It has helped me to feel more confident in room set and generally know what to expect with each case (especially as I am still learning). Additionally, their customer service and family-owned values make this such a worthwhile purchase: originally I bought this app on the Play Store but my phone broke less than a month after buying it. I was able to get in contact with them and they reimbursed my payment for the App Store after switching phones. It has everything I needed for anesthesia school! In-depth adult & peds. case tips, weight based med tables, epidurals, regional blocks, all these apps combined into a huge app! I also like that the app contains input from various CRNAs and anesthesiologists that practice in specialized areas…so many resources. This is my go-to anesthesia app and I highly recommend this app to all anesthesia providers!

I bought this app several years ago as an anesthesia resident during Vargo’s annual sale and it was so worth every penny! I purchased several apps in preparation for anesthesia school, but the Vargo app was used everyday in preparation for clinical and when faced with unfamiliar cases. It is still the app I turn to as a nurse anesthesiologist.

Is missing a ton of different cases, and some of the cases it does have only have a couple sentences of information. Not a thorough or detailed app and definitely not worth 100$

Can we get an update with a tidal volume calculator??

My favorite anesthesia app. Would be great if you could add few more things such as: 1) regional/ blocks section 2) local anesthetic mixture max dose 3) ERAS protocols Thank you for all your hard work

I’ve been using this app since I was a SRNA in 2016. It’s a must have as a student but I still find myself using it when I’m in cases I don’t do very often. I love the pediatrics dosages by weight when I’m in a pinch. The OB section and the calculations section are super helpful. It’s basically anything you need to know about anesthesia in the palm of your hand. I would rate higher than 5 stars if it would let me! Thanks Vargo!

This App is wonderful for both anesthesia residents and practicing anesthesia providers. It has pertinent calculators, quick references for rarely used drugs, specific case tips, and refreshers for obstetric and cardiac anesthesia topics. Worth the buy, especially for students.

I have been using this app since I was in anesthesia school. I graduated 2018 and still use it when I need clarification on dosages, procedures etc.. very helpful! I had an issue with the app matt responded in minutes and fixed the issue promptly. Highly Recommend!

There’s no other Anesthesia related app that compares. Regardless of being a SRNA, CRNA, AA, or Anesthesiologist; this app is the gold standard for utilization. Drug dosing and case set up have helped me enormously as a student and further prepared me once I was working independently. An absolute must have.
