After one of the most recent updates, my wireless CarPlay will no longer reestablish connection. I have to ‘forget device’ and reestablish a Bluetooth connection. CarPlay works fine until I turn off my car and get back in the next time, and it doesn’t connect. This is a very annoying problem because CarPlay worked fine for me without any problems for three years. The wired connection doesn’t work either.

It keeps telling me VIN not recognized. I checked typos, deleted app, cleared cache, and even called customer support. App won’t work. Looks to me like it needs an update or it will likely work properly if I buy into one of the upgraded packages that I don’t need. Sadly disappointed.

The app suddenly started launching whenever I turn my car on even though it doesn’t do anything and I don’t want it to launch. No way to prevent it. Honda likes it because it tries to sell me stuff but this just makes me annoyed at Honda. I’ve deleted it. Problem solved. Thanks Honda.

It’s not worth the money the remote start works only when it wants too if I’m gonna pay at least I want it to work most of the time Toyota app is way better than this app Honda you got to do better

Can’t get the app to work- had to get tow alternate way

The app has basic features, but it takes very long to work because the refresh is extremely slow. Sometimes it doesn’t even work. Even their support form doesn’t work to report a problem.

No matter how many times they try to update this app, there is still an issue where it continuously opens/starts every time you start your car. This is even the case when you haven’t pressed on the app to activate it. You can’t make it stop, you can’t turn off notifications, it is very frustrating! It almost makes me want to remove it from my device altogether. Get it together! Honda reached out and are working to resolve. However, if you look online, lots of people have complained of the same thing. I know this happening to a friend, also. Seems to be a widespread problem. 4/15/26 ticket has been opened with support with NO updates. I was hopeful that when I saw there was an update that was needed to the app, that it would be to address this problem. It’s becoming more and more frustrating as the days go by. I believe that those of us that pay for services using the app such as security should be getting a credit because I’m about to take it off of my phone. 5/25 I have opened a ticket with Honda technology and I just get weekly updates from them saying the exact same thing… They are working on the issue. I do not understand what is taking so long. It is extraordinarily frustrating to have this app open every single time I get into my car. An app should not open or start unless you ask it to.

Setting up the account was unnecessarily complicated. Then scanner didn’t work. Manually entering the actual VIN number multiple times didn’t work. This product was worse than completely useless because it wasted a bunch of time before becoming useless.

Put up with the absolute nuisance of it taking over my entire system every time I plugged it into my car when it should simply run in the background. Then in their infinite wisdom and desire to make a buck, they put every useful feature behind a paywall. Now it’s not worth it. Sad because it could be a differentiator for Honda. Greed always wins out, I guess.

This app should not launch itself into the foreground every time I connect CarPlay. What if I’m trying to pick music or navigate right before connecting to CarPlay? I don’t think that’s an unusual use case
