I begin each day with the Abide devotions. It sets the tone for my time with the Lord. I focus on the “Thought for the Day” and the “Mornings Devotion.” I look with great anticipation for GOD’s opening WORD to me for the day. I am 6 days away from 4500 continuous days of mediation and devotion. I am grateful with joy and inspiration to receive ABIDE each morning. I sincerely appreciate the grace of missing a day and not having to go back to zero. I am encouraged to start each day with the Lord and begin with ABIDE. Then I go to YouVersion for its scriptures and devotion using the “Africa Study Bible”, which I find gives a more truthful interpretation of the Lord’s message, with accurate historical facts. PRAISE the LORD for these devotional annd spiritual helpers!!!
Updated Enjoyed the morning devotions but didn’t use the evening devotions. I would rather a 2-5 minute devotion but the minimum is 15. Too much for me. I don’t want to fall asleep to words I don’t consciously hear. I don’t feel comfortable with some of the readers but I don’t want to name names. Praying God intercedes and gives them discernment and wisdom.
Another app with a subscription service I didn’t catch. I don’t use this app and never got a reminder and I can’t find customer support on the app. I don’t trust apps like this. Please give me an email to get a refund (kudl_98@ yahoo. I regret I ever downloaded this app.
I consume much of my non-work material via Audible, audiobooks, or subscriptions that provide audible listening. Abide does an outstanding job of curating and producing morning devotionals, evening prayer time and devotions, and other inspiring and educational programs that can be listened to anytime throughout the day. Think of your subscription cost as a donation for others who can’t afford it, or it allows the producers to share this material on a free basis to others. You’ll definitely be blessed by participating in Abide on a daily basis, which I know, then will have you impacting other believers and non-believers lives by the Spirit. Blessings to you the listener, and to the many many staff and talented people at Abide.
I thoroughly enjoy the app. It’s my go to first thing in the morning and at night. The meditations are perfect as there are different length options to the meditations. I also like the variety of narrators as some are more soothing to me than others. I highly recommend Abode app often!
I really enjoy the sleep stories & I have to play them again & again because I fall asleep without finishing them. The calming voices and background music is amazing. Also, I love the knowledge that I’m gaining.
I start my day with a hot cup of coffee and the Abide app. It gives me a sense of peace. It takes me away what was the day awaits me. It inspires me to start my day with a new look an a fresh beginning. It’s as if it’s the first day of the rest of my life.
This app helps me sleep almost on command. As a new mom I have adrenaline rushes in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep without this app. It helps shift my gaze on Jesus and calms me down quick. They have tips and tricks to help you relax while giving a good message. I also used this app when I was single and working a lot. It was something I could put in my ears that would calm me down for a midday nap or a meditation. I mainly have used this to help me sleep and it is worth every single penny. I also recommend the app Pause by John Eldridge. I use that mainly for meditation. I have used this app for meditation before and used the journal prompt after.
I enjoy abide app and all that it offers…the only thing that I may not be cool with is it doesn’t haven’t an option or any spoken stories from KJV…
