Spotter Tools Pro is a professional storm-spotting and reporting platform for serious chasers and trained Spotter Network members. Submit field reports, decode NEXRAD Level 2 radar on-device, run a GPS beacon, get tiered severe-weather alerts, and follow storms with Chaser Mode. No ads, no analytics, no subscription. SPOTTER NETWORK REPORTING Send reports to Spotter Network in real time, the way the form is meant to be filled. Tornado, funnel cloud, rotating wall cloud, hail, measured wind, flood, flash flood, and damage — each with the exact fields SN expects: hail-size selector, wind speed and method, narratives. Reports queue offline and auto-upload on reconnect. NEXRAD LEVEL 2 RADAR Live Level 2 super-resolution radar decoded on your phone — no third-party tile server. Reflectivity, Velocity, Correlation Coefficient, and Echo Tops at full radial resolution, with custom velocity dealiasing and full elevation-tilt selection above the lowest scan. Sixteen built-in .pal color tables in standard GR format, or import your own. ANIMATED & COMPOSITE RADAR Loop the last several volumes with a full transport bar (play, scrub, speed). Pair single-site with a CONUS MRMS mosaic: Base Reflectivity, Composite Reflectivity, Echo Tops, or Surface Precipitation Type. WEATHER MODELS Overlay HRRR and GFS forecast guidance on the map — reflectivity, 2 m temperature, wind, CAPE, precipitation and more — with an animated time bar. GPS BEACON Broadcast your live GPS position to Spotter Network, foreground or background, at a configurable interval with encrypted credentials. See other active spotters and their reports on the map. SMART ALERTS Background NWS warning notifications with a polygon preview map attached, even when the app is closed. Three filter modes: Standard, Outbreak (Tornado + Severe focus), and PDS/Emergency only. Watch zones for your current location, home, any city, a whole state, or nationwide. Tornado Emergencies and PDS warnings escalate to urgent Time-Sensitive alerts. Plus optional push for SPC and SN reports and outlook updates.
