"Porta del Cel" is a medium distance circular route located in the Spanish and French Pyrenees. The trail runs through the "Parc Natural de l'Alt Pirineu" and the "Parc naturel régional Pyrénées Ariégeoises". Some parts of the itinerary are signposted but only those that are shared with another routes. The route passes through mountain refuges and it is advisable to book in advance. The route happens in high mountain evironment and you need to bring the right equipment. Crampons and ice axe will be mandatory to cross through the highest passes.
