It’s everything you want from Facebook without needing Facebook.
The app shoves AI generated post titles in your face with no way to turn them off. I do not need this feature as I have a brain and can read the post.
My favorite thing about FB is groups. I’m so happy that I can visit them without scrolling the rest of FB and all the adds and things I don’t follow.
This is an excellent form to educate and share information
Facebook ruined forums and now has the audacity to call this terrible app forums.
This functions horribly on my iPad Pro if needed to use in split screen. I need to use it to format posts in my group since you seem to have moved some of the formatting functionality exclusively to Forums. I just spent nearly a half hour trying to put up a post because when I switch windows Forums minimizes instead of staying up. Will improve rating when fixed.
A lot of features missing to be able to use this as a standalone app for groups. QoL and UI updates are needed.
This app seemed like it would fix the issue of having a bunch of extra trash (reels, suggestions, unwanted posts) but it does not. I want to follow the groups I’m in. If I want to find new ones I’ll go looking. Don’t fill my feed with miscellaneous groups and posts.
Just like the Facebook app, meta is hellbent on auto-refreshing your feed. I love my deals groups, but if you want to go buy the thing, by the time you come back, the app will (in front of your very eyes) auto-refresh, and you have to scroll for eons to get back to your place. I had hoped a dedicated app would be far more user-friendly, but alas I was incorrect. Will be deleting.
Forum has become one of the most helpful apps I use because it brings all the groups I love into one space. Instead of jumping between different platforms, everything I care about is right here — supportive communities, helpful conversations, and people who actually understand what I’m looking for. The app feels organized and super easy to navigate. It makes it easy to stay connected, ask questions, and find encouragement without feeling overwhelmed. Having all my favorite groups together in one app has made my day-to-day life so much simpler and more meaningful. Forum really is a safe, uplifting place to be!
