The CommonSpirit portal coordination with Virginia Mason Hospital is a nightmare. Links show up, disappear, communication and vital services (oncology) are delayed. Epic MyChart worked fine. We are frustrated, our care teams are frustrated.

I tried attaching a photo, but it doesn’t accept the format my iPhone used to take the picture. Methinks the CommonSpirit app needs to be changed to accept what could the format gazillions of iPhone users might try to submit. Thanks.

There is no good time to try and upgrade, but I can’t figure out what this change was meant to improve? It’s one site bouncing to another, I even went in for an already scheduled appointment and was told to use this app to access my chart it then sends me to another information provider who needs another password (which doesn’t seem to work with this organization’s password) and verification that’s too slow before something that times out… I am having a hard time accessing any Rx numbers or get ahold of someone or some secure location so I can get my overdue meds to my pharmacy. I truly hope things improve for everyone as I’m a healthcare provider too, but it is so bad it’s not just difficult as it used to be - it’s dysfunctional.

I have had to enter two factor authentication like 10 times just to log onto this app, and not only was there a barrage of several "helpful" tips that I had to click through to just to get to the appointments page, but then I was dumped back into a web browser to log in again, and go through the 2 forms of 2FA rigamarole once more. There was supposedly an activation link sent months ago, but it never came. The site does not let me search for nearby doctors anymore. This is a huge step backwards from what the old site and app were, and I am strongly thinking about changing my whole family's medical provider just because of this ridiculous cluster of a rollout. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Makes me actually consider switching providers after 15 years. App asks for location EVERY TIME you open it. App doesn’t automatically log in. Takes multiple clicks. Lab results must EACH be individually be clicked on to view. That’s quite annoying for standard yearly panels. I want to see inline. Lab results don’t allow swiping back to exit a result. Not integrated into Apple health (huge issue). Prescription refill via messages gives bogus errors instead of allowing messages to doctor when something can’t automatically be refilled. Overall this is a half baked app that shouldn’t have been forced upon the many people who need it.

This isn’t just a review of the app itself, but the accompanying websites that contain the portals. I know that for some people that they are….usable…and for them that’s great. But they do not work on multiple web browsers which nearly every other site and portal I use do & one of the portals doesn’t even have any doctors on it. Allow people to use the old portal until the problems with this system are worked out rather than corralling them into a broken system no one asked for.

The common spirit website is essentially unusable, so I was hoping the app would be better. Nope! What a joke. Clicking refill medication takes you to a list of medications with no obvious way to actually request the refill. My old medical records aren't available. If you have a phone with multiple language keyboards installed, the app picks one at random and locks you into it, meaning I couldn't type in English in the messaging app. Beyond frustrated that my hospital has changed to this system.

I only the option of messaging my Direct care physician which is really inconvenient. I have a cardiologist and a nephrologist and can’t pick them out like I could on the other app. That seems like a massive miss.
