View each pattern on a dark-hull 3D ship at night and drag to rotate around it to see the lights from dead ahead, bow, beam, quarter and astern. See a clear, plain-language COLREG rule overview for every pattern, linked to Rules 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31. Check exactly which physical lights are fitted with a breakdown of masthead, sidelights, sternlight, towing light and all-round signal lights. Smart reference and search Group patterns by COLREG rule, by vessel size (over 50 m / under 50 m), or browse a simple A–Z list. Use the built-in search to find patterns by name, summary or rule number (for example “Rule 27”, “NUC”, “tug towing”, “fishing trawling”). Night Lights Quiz Practice recognising navigation lights in realistic 3D: each question shows a night view of the vessel from a specific aspect. Choose the correct combination of vessel type + aspect from multiple-choice answers. Use the binocular zoom button to temporarily zoom in on the lights. Get instant feedback: see your score update, and after each question review the correct answer (and your wrong answer when you miss it). Finish the quiz with a clean results screen showing total score and accuracy.
