Phia: Fashion Deals & Rewards

Not even 10 minutes after activating the Phia extension, I start getting nagging notifications that I'm missing out on savings by not activating it. I have so much contempt for developers who do this, just like they have for me too. As for how well it works, the answer is really poorly. First item I tested it on was a pair of shoes, Phia will happily tell me it found a better price on completely different shoes, completely different sizes. As long as they have similar colors, Phia thinks it's a perfect match. Just another typical garbage AI app.

Tried this on 4 websites and zero better prices. Just kept getting “this price is typical” so deleted. Not good

App is still buggy. E.g.: I search on means jeans it displays both sexes. I try to filter by men’s sizing it shows women’s sizes. I search on a particular men’s brand and style. It shows everything but. It seems like a good idea. I’m also concerned with the legal risk of interfering with other sales and transactions but I image the owners and investors have figured that out already.

Hi! I think this app is so great but the Phia banner that pops up every time you click on a product is too big; it frequently obscures the outfit I’m trying to see! It’s the perfect size when the tab is slid to the side, so it should just start that way!

decided not to continue using this app because it strongly pushes users to allow the Safari extension to access every website. The permission request says the extension may read and alter webpages and potentially access sensitive information like passwords, phone numbers, and credit card details. For a shopping deals app, that feels like too much access. I understand that extensions may need some permissions to find coupons, but asking for “Always Allow on Every Website” made me uncomfortable. I would prefer more limited permission options and clearer privacy controls. Because of that, I cannot recommend this app unless users are fully aware of the privacy permissions they are granting.

It’s been 2 weeks and so far it’s saved me $341 so I’m happy I never leave reviews for anything but truly this is the app I didn’t know I needed, and tbh I’m surprised that Phia is the first of its kind b/c why hasn’t anyone come up with this sooner??

Don’t waste your time. This app got advertised to me on my FP on Instagram and got me so excited to use it. Once I downloaded it and created an account the app immediately didn’t load properly and kept removing things that I had saved.

I do not know why I’m getting a constant pop-up from you every time I use Safari, but I’m going to get as far away from this freaking app as I can to make it go away.

I downloaded this app on a whim from an IG ad as i recently got into investing in designer and high quality pieces in addition to thrifting and I wanted to compare prices to similar items without having to open a million tabs. I really like it! It gives me perspective and offers options that I, otherwise, wouldn’t have checked. Works for everything too- furniture, house goods! Not just clothes :)

Absolute waste of time. The app doesn’t even load properly and it’s impossible to delete your account if you no longer want to use the app.
