Libre app[±] is a continuous glucose-monitoring (CGM) app that helps people living with diabetes track their glucose. Compatible with FreeStyle Libre 2 and 3 system sensors. Libre Assist is a feature within Libre app that uses generative artificial intelligence to provide information on how foods could impact your glucose levels. Generative artificial intelligence may not always be accurate, and it should not be used to make treatment decisions. ◊. Do not use the smartwatch app for treatment decisions. Follow the Libre app instructions on your smartphone. ø. Glucose data and alerts appear on your smartwatch only when your phone is in range of the sensor. Alerts are mirrored from the Libre phone app. Ensure your phone settings are enabled to receive notifications. *. Notifications will only be received when alarms settings are enabled and turned on and sensor is within 20 feet (FreeStyle Libre 2 system) 33 feet (FreeStyle Libre 3 system) unobstructed of the reading device. π. The user’s device must have internet connectivity for glucose data to automatically upload to LibreView and to transfer to connected LibreLinkUp app users. µ. Starting over new sensor that had Not expired. I had 5 days before the last would expire. Now it is telling me it will expire in 12 days. Alex told me to use the new App. I obviously do not know how. Help! I already called. I am stuck.
Overall the app works well. Some major gaps: 1) Please allow me, the user, the customer, the person who decides how to use this product the ability to turn off your “critical” notifications. Some examples: - I’m prediabetic so I don’t have to monitor low blood sugar as much. PLEASE allow me to opt out of low blood sugar notifications, or at least allow me to set it very low. - I had to take off the sensor but did not have a garbage bin so it was in my car. PLEASE allow me to turn off the malfunctioning sensor alarm. Yes, I know that the sensor is malfunctioning. I had to uninstall the stupid app to make the message go away. - Let’s be frank here, your app is not important enough to lock me out for 5 minutes after I don’t enter my password correctly 3 times - the same long password that you made me enter against any and all industry standards. 12 characters? Can’t use the product name? Seriously, you are not that important for me to bother to remember a password that is so very special and so very long. At the very least, reset the waiting time after I reset my password? That one is a small win and will make people happy. I started with 4 stars but that last one made me irrationally angry so 3 stars it is. Otherwise the app a great! :)
This thing has a love hate relationship the signal always lost the numbers never match finger sticks and they are super expensive on top of that they barely stick
Opening the app always shows SIGNAL LOSS then refreshes after a few minutes. App did not do this originally not sure if I changed a setting or if something happened due to an update in app or iPhone.
Too much variation between finger stick reading and cgm reading Also every time apple updates the iOS I lose parts of the application that are really useful to me. How long will the update take this time? I’m three behind.
Libre 3 helps me to know how what I eat affects my blood sugar so that helps me to keep it stable.Going forward I will definitely do better.
This app emits a shrill alarm that freaks out my dog and wakes up my family. These are not emergencies. If you disable the alerts in iPhone settings, the app stops working. Why can’t I just use a subtle vibration and banner? I could never use this in public.
Have only been using my Libre for a week and I can already see an improvement in my control of my blood sugar levels. Super easy to use and with the “insight” feature I am able to make better decisions on which foods to eat. I also check my blood often and the results are very close to what my monitor says.
I really love how it allows me to keep track of my blood sugar and see how some foods affect it.
The app reads low and goes no offline often. It alarmed 3 times at not saying I was low but I was well above the reading when using my meter. I think I am going to just use the stand alone device from now on.
