VLC media player

I have been using VLC player on every single device I have owned since I had access to VLC player. Thank you to all of the amazing programmers who make it an open source free for all program. But why would you get rid of a positive function like picture in picture? Update: forgot that my old iPhones were cracked, and that is why I used to be able to do it. Looking forward to the update where it is available for all iPhones.

Where is subtitle delay setting? It used to be found in the playback speed setting, but now it has gone.

I see a lot of negative reviews on this one and just wonder why. Like, this is a 100% free app, stop complaining people. VLC may have its flaws, but it’s still a solid app and one of the best completely free options for media players on the App Store right now. I find it to be particularly great as a free option for playing the music I’ve bought off of iTunes and Amazon, and more than worth a 5 star review. I would like to report a particularly annoying bug though, while I’m here. Whenever you start playing any kind of lossy audio or video file the player will struggle to play it at the right speed and pitch as it adjusts for about 10-20 seconds. It’s not the end of the world, but still pretty annoying whenever I want to get a playlist going. It would be great if this was addressed sometime in the future, but either way, thank you VLC team for such an amazing project! I literally have no idea what I would do without this one.

This app is great i use it for music but at the last music it stops i think it needs a lock screen widget that plays,stops,and chooses music,if that exists,it will be perfect!

Essential software. no PiP yet.

The app frequently shows "Playback Failed" when trying to play online streams (like RTSP or live links). I've tried changing network caching settings and reinstalling, but the issue persists. Please fix this in future updates. Works fine for local files though.

I love to use this to play my running music. It’s more simple to use than other music apps and doesn’t pressure me to buy a subscription like other music apps.

영화보다가 문자나 다른거 확인할겸 바탕화면으로 나갓는데 소리는 왜계속나는건가요??위에서아래로내려서확인해보니 실행은 계속되는걸로뜨던데요??

It’s too bad this doesn’t have Picture in Picture so that I can multitask on the iPhone. Every other player has this ability except for this.

Really bad user interface. Do not even think about using this. It’s awful.
