when I attempt update it still won’t work and app won’t open
I love watching the W and the app has been great in the past even if a little buggy. After the last update, I cannot watch games on landscape mode on my iPad. I use a keyboard with my iPad so only watching games on portrait mode/vertical, I have to remove the keyboard and stand the iPad in front of stacked books.
I love the fact that there’s an app where I can watch all the WNBA games. The price point for the package is excellent. Having said that, the app is a nightmare of constant bugs and poor performance. Currently my app refuses to stay in landscape mode and gets frozen in portrait mode. Often the video player doesn’t work - the menus don’t show up, controls are missing or laggy, cc is constantly enabled even though I toggle it off, etc etc. It’s embarrassing that the WNBA has to put up with such a poor app experience.
The app doesn’t expand to full screen on iPad in landscape mode after update.
How does this POS keep getting worse? I had to stop watching a game because it restarted multiple times. Why break something that previously worked? And make a suggestion? I suggest you restore the app that worked.
This is why people illegally stream. You can’t watch so many games because it’s on some TV channel you have to have a separate subscription for. Such a joke. If Wilson, Collier, Reese or Clark are playing, don’t count on watching them often.
I’ve enjoyed this app for 3 years now and enjoy watching games on league pass. The latest app now prevents the app from going to full screen on my ipad. Watching games on the smaller screen is something I’d like to avoid.
I was directed to update the phone app…no opt out…but the old username as listed was incorrect and it was not possible to change it…so l am locked out…despite having paid for it. No listed customer service #.
We are supposed to be able to watch past games if they are played on NBC or USA etc. I have only been able to see 2 games on league pass and now I can’t even watch the past games. Huge disappointed
Hate that the update now only shows in the portrait view and not the landscape view. Why the change?
