They will randomly use Ai tools and ban you permanently without explanation. They do that often after you pay a subscription fee. Probably got loads of data leaks and hacks, and not disclosing it. Be your own judge.
It’s a good app, you just have to be active on it alot
Hinge has one of the most frustrating moderation systems I’ve ever experienced. I was permanently banned with no meaningful explanation, no evidence of wrongdoing, and no opportunity to have an actual conversation with a real person. For an app that claims to be focused on creating genuine connections, it’s astonishing how little transparency or due process exists when it comes to account bans. One false report, one mistake by an automated system, and years of conversations, matches, and connections can disappear instantly. The appeals process feels completely pointless. You submit an appeal, receive a generic response, and that’s the end of it. No specifics, no clarification, no accountability. If you’re going to permanently remove users from your platform, the least you can do is provide a clear reason and a fair review process. Instead, Hinge seems content to let algorithms make life-changing decisions while offering virtually no customer support. Great concept. Terrible customer service. If you’re a legitimate user, understand that your account can be taken away at any time, and you may never find out why. Hinge’s slogan should be: Designed to be deleted… by us, without explanation

This is a terrible update for people who are actively dating irl. I don’t want anyone knowing my online activity & with no way to turn this off I will be deleting my profile. I’m sure you’ll see a ton of women follow suit.
Recently decided I was ready to get back into the dating scene so I downloaded 5 prominent dating apps to have my best shot at meeting my forever person. After about 10 days on all of them I had multiple promising matches on all but one…Hinge, which I had a grand total of ZERO matches on. On another app I matched with a woman I’d like the day prior on Hinge and joked it must be fate that I found her on two apps on back to back days only for her to tell me she never got my like on Hinge. I’ve done the face verification on Hinge and there’s nothing remotely controversial on my profile worth a ban. The crazy thing is the apps UI, profile format, and connection methods are probably my favorite of the dating apps I’ve used…so if I hadn’t been illogically shadow ban I’d probably give this app 5 starts. Y’all need to seriously work on whatever Ai shadow bans people for no reason.
No matter how many times I try, after uploading 6 photos I get an error

Tinder is full of bots and scammers, they also ban accounts for no reason.
