thank you so much IHop, you’ve finally figured out how to make an app that always signs you out of your account

I need more customization because I hate hash browns and I can’t swap it on the app. I want an order where I can swap out the nasty hash browns for like an extra thing of bacon or eggs. Yall do it in store why not on the app?

What in the F is that requirement

This is app is super inconvenient and broken, each time I input my card it says my address is wrong for the card and it declines my account. I drove 25 minutes to the location for nothing. DO NOT USE THIS APP.

IHOP is forcing customers to update their iOS system in order to continue using the app. I have pan coins that can’t be used because of this. It is unfair and unrealistic to think everyone wants to update their phone taking up additional storage and slowing their service down. We should have an option to still add our points to our account. This is not how you treat loyal customers. Ridiculous

Really confusing coin system. Not intuitive. Cant find where to add silverware. Had to enter in make/model for car several times.

The milkshake is heaven I recommend trying it. Also, everthibg is SOOO good! Worth the money. I hope you’re doing good Paul!

IHOP forcing you to update to iOs 26 is a complete failure to read the room. If you understood the landscape you'd know that plenty of users, myself included, did not install iOs 26 because we don't like the liquid glass garbage and the battery/ performance issues that come with it. How bad is it? Dexcom was also going to force users to upgrade but backtracked because of the friction this would've created. What's worse? IHOPs website is also terrible and takes forever to do anything and never loads. It's always mind blowing when you hear about companies like IHOP that are just scratching their heads at why the business is failing and they have all these theories about consumer behavior etc but the simple stuff like - can end users even load your website is beyond them - it's the proverbial tier one - have you tried power cycling it when you SHOULD actually be asking the question. Update: not sure if you’re doing any testing but it’s very apparent you’re not reading reviews. People can’t even place orders and you’re doing things to create even more friction with an already broken process. I can’t use the app because I refuse to update to iOS 26. Every other major restaurant - Chick Fil A, Starbucks, Cracker Barrel has figured this out and are running laps around you - hmm wonder why? Can’t use Safari because it doesn’t let you use coupon codes - the keyboard pops up and closes - what is that even? So we don’t even test the web version of what customers are able to access? iPad app the payment interface doesn’t load - it has you enter all the card details and then gets stuck on choose a payment method - there is no list shown to choose from. For a company Dine Equity’s size this is just really bad. Hopefully a shareholder is scrolling thru here and reads these reviews and you can ask them on the next earnings call when they plan on trying to get back all the customers they’ve ran off with poor QC/UA testing and implementation. Update 2: Got a survey from iHop and provided all of this in feedback. At the end it asks if I want a free breakfast when you spend $40 dine-in only? Bruh? How out of touch can you be? 1) my order today was take out and I haven’t dined in in years. 2) my order today and event last recent orders have been nowhere near $40 - that’s like dining out with a family which is super targeted and won’t apply to most people. 3) You completely shat the bed and you think someone’s gonna spend $40 MORE dollars with you. Definitely see why iHops are failing.

Nice update. I have 100 pancoins I can’t touch through this app anymore unless I download an update that wasn’t made with my iPhone 13 in mind.

I had my account for about a whole year or somewhere around there and I used it frequently. I had up to 30-35 pancoins and I stopped going to ihop for a month. When I wanted to use my app again I found out that my account just disappeared or got deleted. I emailed customer service said they couldn’t find my account then ghosted me.

Horribly Made. Will Continuously log you out then fail to get you back in. I go to go pay and it will also fail. What’s the point of having the app ?
