El anfitrión decide cancelar y no te dan ningún tipo de ayuda , acompañamiento ni detalle. Es increíble decidieron cancelarme a una semana , el anfitrión me escribió derecho para avisarme pero te dejan en el limbo, si cancelo yo me quieren cobrar pero si el anfitrión no cancela no hace nada. Una vergüenza 0 recomendable, sácate un hotel te vas a hacer menos problemas
Wanna have a birthday party? Well since you said party we gotta cancel that. Oh you wanna make a new profile for any reason at all? Well welcome to air bnb where we will cancel your bookings and flag your profile for high risk because you’re new. Therefore you won’t ever be able to use our services. Oh you think the host is being unfair? Well actually it’s me and I’ll straight up lie to you about what’s going on and repeat the same message while I cancel your service. -AirBNB Slop A I
Twice in a row we’ve gone to an Airbnb we booked months in advanve only there to be: no key, dog running loose in unit, unresponsive and rude hosts, and so much more. Just get a hotel instead of flipping a coin hoping you doont get a scammer or get stranded. I advize anyone to never use this app. You will be left stranded and frustrated.
I’ve learned this company rolled back its DEI initiatives and donated to trump’s campaign. This administration has destroyed the economy and made a joke of The Constitution and will no longer get my money, which we have very little left to vacation with thanks to trump.
Bring back the categories like camping OMG luxury etc.
How to fix ?
Well. It’s time I delete Airbnb and you should too if you were looking for unique property types. Now it’s streamlined to just homes, apartments and hotels. I really want a camper, and I’m sure campers are still being offered, but the filters don’t show other properties besides the ones I mentioned so finding specific properties are now hard to find. Their search engine also doesn’t allow you to search for properties or specific words/names. It’s fallen off. Time to search for a better app.
2★ — Buena plataforma hasta que tienes una disputa real. Mi experiencia reciente con Airbnb me dejó bastante decepcionado. Fui un huésped responsable: seguí reglas, mantuve buena comunicación con el host, cumplí pagos adicionales, cuidé la propiedad y no hubo incidentes durante la estancia. Sin embargo, surgió un desacuerdo posterior al checkout por una supuesta marca en un mueble exterior / zona de piscina. Lo frustrante no fue solo la reclamación, sino el manejo del sistema de reviews. El host dejó un review centrado prácticamente por completo en ese desacuerdo puntual, ignorando completamente el resto de la experiencia y nuestro comportamiento general como huéspedes. Intenté apelar porque entendía que el review no representaba la experiencia completa, sino una extensión de una disputa aún discutida entre ambas partes. La respuesta fue básicamente mantener el review. Da la impresión de que, aunque tengas buena conducta como huésped, una disputa posterior puede terminar definiendo toda tu reputación en la plataforma, con muy poca consideración al contexto completo o a la proporcionalidad. Airbnb funciona muy bien… hasta que te toca probar qué tan equilibrado es realmente el sistema cuando hay desacuerdos.

Was on the trip of a lifetime going to Europe. Then the canceled tours started. 2 canceled tours. 1 to the coliseum and another to the louvre. Two huge stops on my trip that were booking months in advance. Canceled with little to no notice just because the host didn’t feel like doing the tour or didn’t have enough participants sign up. To add a cherry on top they didn’t refund my stay in Paris when I told them they had bugs in the room I booked. Little to no power for the buyer. Stay away from this app and book elsewhere!
