Diptic

An app I only use on occasion but every time I am always surprised how fluid and easy it is to use.

I have searched online, tried everything in the app, but it seems this most basic functionality is missing. Pretty sad for a paid app.

Diptic is a lot of fun to play with. A great app to easily create grids of images that can be manipulated in size and color. It's also an excellent tool when feeling stuck creativity. Its UI encourages seeing one's artwork from a different point of view. The app hasn't been updated in a while but is still working well on my 3rd Gen 12.9" iPad Pro running the latest IOS 18. Am crossing my fingers the developer will either update it or pass it on to a colleague to update.

This collage is excellent. You can change all the borders and colors. It only cost 2.99. One time price instead of having to pay for something every month which I’m not doing .I use it all the time.

무료 어플들도 있긴 한데 Diptic만큼 직관적이고 깔끔하고 필요한 기능들이 다 들어있는 어플은 없더라고요. 이거 하나 구매하면 평생 쓸 듯 합니다. 정말 후회없음. 사진 분할을 진짜 수월하고 간편하게 할 수 있어요. 혹시 다른거 더 괜찮은거 있나 여러가지 받아봤는데 Diptic만한게 없습니다.

When this app works, it does a nice job. But the interface is very finicky, and it often refuses to let me add photos that I want to use. For example, I just finished putting two photos together and it looked great. But then I realized that one of the photos was not quite the one I wanted, so I went back to change it. That’s when Diptic started misbehaving. I wasted a lot of time trying to get the correct photo into place but it would never let me do it. I’d like to ditch this app and find a better one.

I really don’t understand what these recent reviewers are talking about. I upgraded to a new iPhone and using latest iOS18 and this app works just fine like it did on my old iPhone

As of today the animation (multi pic) option is not working properly. Loses pics selected and now gets hung up. Was perfect, up until today (April 25/2025).

It looks as though this app has not been updated in a long long time. That’s too bad, because it was an excellent photo collage app and did not require ridiculous subscriptions. On my iPhone 15 it will no longer load photos into a grid at all, so I guess that’s the end of that.

can someone tell my why there are no video apps that claim to be video collage apps that don’t even make actual video split screen collages with more than two panels?! why is this so hard. and then apps like this claim to do that and you purchase it and it doesn’t do it. I remember once there was an app called vidstitch that did this and it was so simple and intuitive and for years i’ve been trying to find an app that does that and keep running into apps like this that claim to do it but don’t. so annoying

I used a free version of this app years ago and I was really happy with it so I thought I would purchase this version now when I wanted to do some clever things with videos I have of my granddaughters. Unfortunately, after paying for this version, I was really disappointed. First, It crashed my phone while I was trying to make a project. Secondly, when I finally got a project done, it was very dark and purple, and didn’t carry over the color. The second project I tried to put together never processed. Definitely not worth the money and I’m really disappointed.
