Make reviewing essential physical therapy academic content enjoyable! Physical Therapist Content Master is designed to assist physical therapists to possess full command of core academic content. Physical Therapist Content Master is an ideal tool for physical therapist students, recent physical therapy graduates, and licensed physical therapists. The academic content is organized into unique system and non-system categories. Musculoskeletal System Neuromuscular System Cardiopulmonary System Other Systems Equipment and Devices Therapeutic Modalities Safety and Protection Professional Responsibilities Research Physical therapists can review selected content by scrolling through subcategories in each of the system and non-system areas. Our innovative design presents academic content in a user-friendly format that allows users to easily digest essential information. Users rate their competence in a variety of topics and create personalized Study Stacks. Study Stacks allow users to efficiently remediate identified academic deficiencies. Frequent review of essential academic content allows users to successfully convert the information to long-term memory. Physical Therapist Content Master includes an assessment mode that consists of 750 multiple-choice questions. Each multiple-choice question has four unique options and an explanation supporting the correct answer. The multiple-choice questions are designed to assess a user’s mastery of the information presented in the content review mode. The number of questions in each category varies from a minimum of 25 to a maximum of 175. Our Content Tag feature allows users to quickly review questions by topic area (i.e., special tests, cranial nerves, pulmonary function tests). A formal score report describes a physical therapist’s level of mastery cumulatively, by category, and by timeline. Each of the individual reports provides users with valuable performance data to assess their present level of academic mastery. Utilization of the app on a frequent basis considerably strengthens a physical therapist’s knowledge base and provides the necessary foundation to progress to higher level licensing-like questions. I primarily used this app to study for the NPTE and passed on my first attempt. As other reviews have stated, this app is not comprehensive. However, I found this app highlights the MUST KNOW details of each area of the NPTE. As I am constantly on my smart phone I found it convenient to have my study material with me at all times. Items that required strict memorization such as burn classifications, wound grades, etc were easily managed as I could glance at my phone and test myself when I had any free time over the course of months. I 100% recommend this app. It will help you to understand what you need to focus on in your academic review and allow you to have crucial info easily accessible.

It would be helpful if page numbers were included in answer rationales that correspond with the actual study guide. Being able to delete individual exams would also be helpful and is an option I’ve seen other people discuss too. Score builders should actually read these reviews and listen to their consumers. Overall good way to check baseline knowledge. There are not clinical application questions in this app so if that’s what you’re looking for you’ll need to look elsewhere.
When taking exams, I have experienced several crashes.
This app is one of the very best study guides available! I have purchased several different ones, but this one is the most user friendly and has the best overall content!👍🏼
Version 4.2 was better
Without even really using the app there’s no way to login and ensure the purchase.
Not a very good app. The design is like it's from a late 90s website. No options to customize exams and even reviewing your answers is a pain. I would get a refund if I could. Look elsewhere.
The app is broken down into categories we see on our PT content outline. Each topic has a short description for quick review. There are 750 questions in total and you can take quick tests in each category whenever you like without any time restriction. Navigation is easy,but I wasn't able to scroll down to check my scores for recent tests which was very annoying. So I had to find another way to view them. The questions are based on basic theory and very few clinical based ones. This is good to check your basics and a quick review in the end. I wouldn't recommend 'buying' this app. It won't prepare you much for the NPTE.
