This app the second in the "pilot helper" series is aimed at helping you out with all those pesky acronyms and contractions. This application is for professional and private Pilots. It is a compact search tool used to help with NOTAM / Weather Contractions (Acronyms) either inflight or on the ground. On the Ground this app helps you interpret complex NOTAMs and un-decoded METARs/ TAF’s / Area Forecasts, etc.. As a pilot you often review your NOTAMS again in the air when close to your destination as a reminder, it is impractical to go looking up contracts at this stage of the flight but this app makes that simple. Simply type in the first few characters of the contraction and the list will narrow down showing you the definition you need to understand the information you have. E.G. if looking for the meaning of "PAEW" you just type in part of the contraction "pa" and you will see the list narrow down to similar contractions with the definition adjacent to it in this case “Personnel and Equipment Working”.

Most, but not all abbreviations. Developer website link broken. Feedback page for adding new abbreviations, but hangs up in iOS 10.
wanna get refund. not working with iphone6. it s frozen.
App does not work on iOS 9. When you try to open it flickers then closes. I want a refund...
A good start for deciphering NOTAMs. Many abbreviations are accurately decoded for the end-user. However, it needs updating and work. 1) There are many more obscure and uncommon abbreviations and codes. Current list is not wholly comprehensive. 2) Clarifying which abbreviations are ICAO, FAA etc would be useful. 3) Search function might be better designed. 4) Make it iPad compatible.
Functional app with the search bar, NOTAMS & Weather but I've come across a contractions that I've had to search elsewhere to find. Updates may be required.

Still have to look up words in different publications. Not a very large list of words in the app.
The App now lets you tap on the contraction to display the entire definition
I use this app daily in fly planning, makes notam and Wx interpretation easy
Unhappy about the fact that you cannot read the entire defintion of an abbreviation. It does me no good when i can only see half of the meaning.
Good app that gets the job done. Just wish had some way to contact the developer, searched the website for an email to ask a question, but couldn't be located. Also would like to see when you highlighted the deifinition, it would have a popup box. On some, not all the definition show.
