Waze Navigation & Live Traffic

Easy to navigate with, and very accurate as far as road constructions and slow downs!

Waze HAD been the best, most useful, and easiest to use navigation app available. Lately, however, it has become very buggy. It seems to have started when they were bought out by Google. Perhaps they are just getting rid of the competition by abandoning it, because it has problems running on Apple Car Play. 1/2 of the time the map shows, but won’t show a route, you can’t interact with it on the car’s touch screen display, and it won’t go into dark mode. Sometimes it’s just a blank screen until you shut the car off and restart it. I don’t want to use Google Maps or even Apple Maps, but often, I don’t have a choice because Waze won’t work. Update: Just as soon as it started working again, they updated and totally ruined the app. Don't know why developers destroy apps with updates that completely change it. With this update, they have pretty much eliminated users reporting incidents, police, objects on road, etc. Because now, instead of two screen taps to report, it now takes at least three and sometimes four screens. which is not safe to do while driving. I'm not reporting anymore because they have made it more time consuming and cumbersome. I know many users will also stop because of this, which eliminates the feature that set Waze apart from Google or Apple maps. They also got rid of the on screen speed limit signs, which is another negative change making the app not worth using anymore. And, if those aren't bad enough, now it requires you to open the app to use it and you can no longer select all of your destinations from your car's infotainment screen, you have to unlock your phone, scroll to find them and select them from your phone. They picked 5 random destinatons from your history and only those are available using the screen. Even if you use one everyday and it isn't work or home, you have to unlock your phone, scroll and select. Everything Waze has done in the last few years has made the app WORSE, not better.

This was a great travel app but over time it has began to be very sporadic with CarPlay. Often showing only a white screen, but displaying the directions. App seems to crash CarPlay also periodically. Waze is still my goto despite these glitches. So now it is a good travel app.

Anytime we travel all we us is Waze Navigation. It has saved us so much time and headache. Use this you will not be sorry ♥️😊

This app helped me so much on our 2800 mile trip. I will definitely be using it all the time.

I’ve never had a problem with the app. Very trustworthy and as my brother says”Just listen to Waze”.

Don't drive without it.

Been using Waze for a long time, but this last update seems to have killed the option of checking for alternate routes. Once you click the alternate route option on the CarPlay screen. The map itself goes black and you can’t choose an alternate route. You can only hit go and it will stay black until you unplug your phone and plug it back in.

Convenient, helpful, and reliable. Only thing they could make easier is to a have an open option to have from point A to B if not leaving from your current area.
