WordWeb Audio Dictionary

The best app out there, ad free. And super easy to use

I love this free app that I proceed to buy the version with audio pronunciation, only to find the compatibility with voiceover is not impressive, especially the pronunciation section and the setting. If this areas are fixed, it will be flawless.

Your app is definitely awesome but I have a suggestion: If you could merge all these dictionaries(chambers thesaurus, chambers dic and wordweb) into one one solid app, would be lot better, because switching between these apps are a little frustrating.

가격대비 최고의 영영사전입니다. 원어민 음성 (미국,영국) 지원하죠.. 지원 되는 단어의 수도 충분합니다. 가격이 왔다갔다하는군요. 지금은 3.99네요. 2년이상 여러 사전을 구매하였는데, 지금은 이 사전을 가장 많이 사용하게 되는 군요. 돈만 있으면 롱맨 영영사전 음성지원 버전으로 사지요. 한 3만원 하던거 같았읍니다.. 이 사전은 가격이 5천원 쯤 하네요.. 부족한 점은 거의 찾을 수가 없습니다.

I think this Dic is simply the way should be and what is it other than British English???

学習用英英辞典として良い選択肢になると思います。 他の辞書と比較した場合、語彙と例文では一歩劣るのですが、インクリメンタルサーチ＋サジェスチョン（いい加減なつづりで入力しても正しい候補を選んでくれる）機能のおかげで、耳で聞いただけでつづりがまったく分からない単語でも簡単に調べることができます。発音もその場で確認可能。なお、こちらは英国式発音バージョンなので購入時にはご注意。 英英辞典とはいえ、項目中のすべての単語はタップして調べることができるので、「ひいたけど結局分からなかったよ」ということはないはずです。

LANDSCAPE mode please! We need BIG keyboard when using this kind of APP 

I have been using the non audio program on my PC Desktop for years! Not only is it a GREAT program, but the Author is very responsive to requests and he continues to update this program. It never sits long in an idle mode as he is always making a GREAT program just a little GREATER! Now he has brought it to the iPhone and we are very fortunate to have this application! There are others out there that claim to do what this does, but they all fail to measure up. As I said earlier, I have been using the non audio on the PC desktop for years, but what makes this program/application really stand out, it has NEVER EVER crashed or produced an error on my PC, and we all know how finiky Windows can be. To have a program that is 100% reliable is a product on to itself! So how do you make a GREAT program GREATER? Make an AUDIO version! Not just one voice, but several to choose from! OUTSTANDING Antony! Do your self a favor, GRAB this program and never look back, I haven't................................ Gunny

I currently have 3 dictionaries on my iPod Touch, but this one is by far the best!! Yes it does work on iPods. 6 stars!!!

Simplicity is best and this app does just that with the UI. Looking up words hasn't been this easy & reliable. Pretty much the same as Wordweb original but starts up faster and has audio.
