iCab Mobile (Web Browser)

The only browser I can get everything to work properly on…with some configuration. Creator is great with queries.

(Review is from my son Tommy) I love this app dear icab I have a ton of requests I hope you can add all of this into the icab app in the feature that will be the goal that is can you please add a mega ton of more customization options and mega ton of options for example a slider options to adjust how Liquid Glass looks because iOS 27 is rumored to have a Liquid Glass slider options and add a Liquid Glass color tint options and add an option to change the background in different colors because right now there is only light mode and dark mode and add an automatic dark mode option so when you go into the light it changes light mode and when you go into a dark room it changes to dark and gradient options for the address bar that is on top when you reload a page on icab and add thickness options for the address bar when you reload a page on icab and add draw gestures and add font options and add highlight text effects (styles) when you highlight text and developer options I would love to have full control over the icab browser just like you get when you download extensions for Firefox and chrome and edge and download extensions for safari I would love that please make that happen and add an option for show address bar on toolbar and add an option to show navigation buttons (backwards forwards) and and add an option to bring the address bar to the bottom and adjust the color of the background of the website and adjust the color of the text just like you can on safari by using a safari extension that is called noir application and add an option to show the tab switcher history because on safari you can view the tab switcher with many options to adjust the tab switcher that is more rows and change the size and add sorting options that is oldest and newest and oldest reads and newest reads and add an option to show the read time for the tab switcher for icab and add an option for the tab switcher to looks like the iOS app switcher like the arc browser and add themes style layouts for the icab browser for example the ios 6 layout style and the windows 95 layout style and add an option to make the icab browser looks like the iOS 26 safari tab style more gestures options for example pinch or double or triple tap to do different actions and make the start page extremely customizable like you can on safari by using a safari extension called Bonjourr I want to add a clock and the weather with many customizable options and add an option to change the background and choose a photo for you background on the start page and please make icab way more flexible that is Support real Chrome or Safari extensions and Be set as your default browser directly from inside the app and Automatically save web forms without you tapping a button and Keep private mode tabs open forever when you leave the app and Run full Chrome or Firefox extensions like uBlock Origin and Install add-ons from the Safari App Store and Open an entire bookmark folder with one tap And Copy images directly from web pages easily and Use drag-and-drop everywhere in the interface and Exit kiosk mode with a simple tap or button and Use the old classic web engine on newer iOS versions and Automatically save passwords without manual setup and Match Safari’s deep system integration and speed and Handle some complex desktop-only website features perfectly and Unzip downloaded files by itself and Sync bookmarks with other browsers without losing custom features and Offer menu hiding or auto-hide options and Provide true extension-level website customization and Run certain older third-party filter lists without fixing them first and Let you change font size the old way on modern iOS and please respond back I want it to be endless of options in the stock icab application settings and thank you for my support Tommy

I have been using iCab Mobile since around 2012, and it has been my main browser on iOS for many years. The level of customization and advanced features is still unmatched. Thank you for continuing to maintain and develop such a powerful browser. However, I noticed a change in recent versions (around version 11) regarding tab navigation. I use the “Previous Tab” and “Next Tab” buttons in the toolbar to move quickly between many tabs (sometimes 30–40). In older versions, when switching tabs this way, the tab bar automatically scrolled so the active tab stayed visible, usually near the center of the tab bar. In the current version, the tab bar no longer follows when switching tabs using these buttons. Because of this, the active tab can move outside the visible area of the tab bar, which makes it difficult to know which tab is currently open when many tabs are in use. If possible, it would be very helpful to have an option that automatically scrolls the tab bar so the active tab remains visible (or centered) when switching tabs via “Previous Tab” or “Next Tab”. I would be very happy if this behavior could be restored or provided as an optional setting. Thank you again for your continued development of iCab Mobile.

This was once an excellent browser. It was “reinvented” a while ago which was a poor job with change for the sake of change being the apparent objective. Now it has rendering issues with major websites. AMEX crashes iCab, Amazon renders poorly, other sites simply stop loading with some of the page missing. More and more I’m using Safari. Once Safari has a decent cookie manager, iCab will simply be uninstalled.

Full screen button is ever so important now since other browsers’ menu bars are so FAT!!!, they usually hide themselves but there are some websites where they don’t. One of those sites is smartdraw, and I use iCab as a lifesaver

You can control pretty much everything. Get it. Jan 7 2026 left my latest “tip.” Well worth it. Invaluable app.

I have a tab in My Admin that immediately takes me to the iPhone App Store and I cannot stop it when I access the app. How do I reset the app without losing all my saved bookmarks to basically close all the tabs so it doesn’t keep immediately taking me to a rogue app in the AppStore? When I click on admin button to access the app it shows and open tab and then immediately takes me to the App Store. Please help.

Oh well. I know there’s a million things this browser can do, but it can’t do the one thing I bought it for, which is force the desktop site of my financial services platform. I’ll see if I can get a refund.
