What is iBP? iBP is a blood pressure tracking and analysis tool. Please note, it is not possible to measure your blood pressure by touching the screen. A separate device is required. What kind of analysis does iBP provide? iBP uses color icons to indicate when your blood pressure values are normal, high, or hypertension. It also provides interactive graphs that allow you to display your values by weeks, months, year and time of day. The graphs display lows, highs, averages, and trend lines using statistical analysis. Why iBP vs. other blood pressure apps? iBP is a universal app designed to work on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, which means you only pay for the app once and you get all versions! iBP is the only blood pressure app with a built in transfer capability to sync all your iOS devices. What are the key features? * Reads and writes Apple Health blood pressure, pulse, and weight data (details below) * Easy data input using dials instead of keyboard * Transfer capability to sync all of your iOS devices * Calculates Mean Arterial Pressure and Pulse Pressure * Track one personal item (blood glucose, stress level, medication dosage, exercise time) * Backup / Restore capability * Multiple users * Multiple email addresses (you and doctor) * Multiple email formats (PDF, HTML, CSV, Plain Text) * Passcode to protect your data * Touch Id for passcode on devices that support it * Snapshot of the graphs can be saved * User configurable color ranges * Weight units (lb or kg) * Withings Blood Pressure Monitor & Wireless Scale Apple Health iBP is now able to read and write Apple Health blood pressure, pulse, and weight data. If your blood pressure monitor (i.e., Omron, iHealth, Withings) adds data to Apple Health then you can easily import that data into this app. If you manually input your data into this app, then it will write that data to Apple Health. Withings + iBP = No more data entry! iBP can retrieve your blood pressure and weight data directly from your Withings account. The Blood Pressure Monitor and wireless Body Scale automatically record and send the data to your account. There is no data entry required and you can view the data anywhere using a web browser or a variety of mobile apps. Used this for years and it’s great. Connects with Apple Health, shows trends and graphs….just easy and nice.
Thank you for this excellent app! My first BP reading dates back to December 8, 2009. The syncing to and from Apple Health remains flawless and the graphs with trended data are excellent to this day. After 16 years with the app, I hope the developer remains dedicated to whatever updates are needed to keep the app going for years to come! Thank you!
I have been using this app for almost 14 full years now with daily readings including weight. In all that time, I have missed no more than 30 days total! Love it!
I’ve used IBP since 2012, today I’m unable to scroll backwards on the graph. I’m missing the arrows to scroll, I need help

Withings connection doesn’t work anymore. Loading data from Apple Health leads to app freeze, i.e. doesn’t work.
This is a very useful app; I have been using it for a number of years now. I have no major issues with the app with one major exception: why is there no way to export the raw data for importing into a spreadsheet or database on the PC? I love the app for its ease of entering the data but am very frustrated by not being able to massage this data outside the app.
I just noticed the website for Leading Edge saying explicitly that Withings BP and Weight measurements are automatically downloaded to iBP; this is completely fanciful. Up to about two years ago BP readings could be seamlessly downloaded to iBP, at least until the link was suddenly broken. Now when you try to download to iBP Withings BP readings, you get this: “Error; The data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format”. As for weight measurements , they’ve never been an option as far as I know. You can’t even manually move data in or out of iBP because once in iBP, the date/time is converted to a strange ten digit numerical code incompatible with any human language and with .csv transfer protocols. As for the backup and restore commands they wipe out and replace all content. In effect the only data input procedure that actually works reliably is manually. Wifi data transfer works between iPad and iPhone assuming you have an existing intelligable data set to share (and which is .csv compatible), but it’s so confusingly bidirectional.
Used to work fine, but awhile ago it stopped being able to extract data from Withings. Get a data format error.
Both my doctor and I love the charts of readings. The ease of input and the customization can’t be beat. I have been using this app for years and think it is the best.
A very good app! I have been using iBP for years on my iOS devices; however, after I deleted it from my iPad, due to its storage limitations that time, it appears I can no longer download it on my iPad for free. Do I have to pay again for the use on the iPad? Many thanks in advance for your early reply.
現在、お医者さんに、データを印刷して渡しています。グラフを作成出来るので、重宝しています。が、データ開始日が設定出来ないので、三カ月以内の検診日だと、かなりの空白日ができ。苦慮していますが、それ以上利便性があるので、わたしには良いアプリです。 ちなみに、内分泌科に通院。
