Shamans have been using the drum to enter into the shamanic journey since the beginning of recorded time. Shamanic Journey Drumming contains repetitive drumming used to enter into a shamanic state of consciousness. This application includes the following drum journey tracks: - multiple drumming journey - single drumming journey - rattle journey - crystal bowl journey - jingle drum journey In addition, there are 3 tracks of natural sounds of ocean waves, babbling brook, and birds in spring, which may be used for relaxation or meditation. Journey tracks have the option of a callback/return signal to guide journeyers in retracing their steps back. There are also options for duration and tempo (slow, medium, fast) for each journey track. This shamanic drumming application features Frauke Rotwein, who has been practicing shamanism since 1992. She offers classes, workshops, and private sessions, and is a shamanic healer at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY. She has produced 3 popular shamanic drumming CDs, and a book with CD entitled "An Introduction to Shamanic Journeying".

When tapping the Settings Gear, the app closes now. Used to work great and could change Calkback and duration of the drumming. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I downloaded this app about 10 years ago and used it quite a bit for entering “gnosis” states of mind, before deep prayer or meditation. It was excellent then and, as I see now, even better. The developer has broadened its usefulness and application parameters. What a kind gift for those looking for a quality app that helps induce shamanic trance. I’m so grateful the developer has kept this app “alive” and has even improved it! I Highly recommend it for those seeking to access the largely obscured, yet unmistakably recognizable “clear light” mind that we all possess. In this state of mind, be careful. Karmic forces will weigh heavily and one must have the most noble and ethical of intentions, lest peril will result. This app is basic and exactly what I needed. There’s no random stuff you didn’t ask for, and no ads. It’s perfect for meditation, including different styles of drumbeats, with a few different options. I highly recommend for mediation and journeying.
Wonderful app. Intuitive and simple to use. My only problem is that the 5 minute setting is too short, where I am just getting into the journey, and the 10 minute setting is too long, where I'm falling asleep or have trouble remembering what occurred. Would love to see a setting in between the two, say 7, 7.5, or 8 minutes. A small thing but it will make a big difference.
My wife & I are practicing shamanic healers/teachers, & have been using this app for a couple years now personally & professionally, & highly recommended it! I especially love the call-back & tempo features,

Honestly and unfortunately this app is crap and the drums sound horrible.
Freezes up with in a few seconds. Drums are horrible. Don't waste your dollar. :(
