Praying at sunrise is forbidden and must be performed after at least 10 minutes of sunrise. iPray for this reason adds 10 minutes to sunrise and labels it correctly as "Ishraaq". * Prayer Alerts will ONLY alert you with an initial Takbir. Very handy easy to use and time accuracy with no ads distractions.
all the times are wrong. it says fajr is at 5:54 when it’s really at 4:50. says sunrise is at 7:26 while it’s really at 6:25. all the times are wrong and there’s no way to fix it.
I have been using a lot of different apps for prayer times for the past twenty years. As someone with ADHD and OCD, this app is simply brilliant and I would pay ten times more. It has such a contemporary and inspiring user interface and experience. The execution of the apps’ main function is fantastic and I would love to donate it to many more people.
When location services in set to Always instead as opposed to “While using the App”, the Apple Watch app Qibla compass does not function and instead shows Location permission required warning. Even weird is that the app does make an audio alert when facing the Qibla.

Update: 12/26/25: They still haven’t fixed the inaccurate widgets. It’ll be two minutes to Fajr and the widget keeps saying it’s 4:38 TO Qiyam whereas Qiyam was 4:38 hours ago. Update: please change the Qibla setting so that the app automatically locks using haptic feedback vibration. One can hardly tell when one is pointing into the Qiblah other than for the pointer turning white. Change it to something more pronounced and visible. Read my older comments below, which are very important as well. I had DST set to ON. Wrong! Keep it on Automatic Off. We entered DST yesterday on the West Coast of the United States. The app has not corrected and is showing all prayer times late by one hour. Make sure you keep DST off because the iPhone automatically adjusts its time and the app follows the iPhone time. If you keep DST on, then the app will give you an incorrect time. Why does developer have three settings for this: Automatic, Off, On and Off? What is “automatic off”? Anyway, that’s the setting I switched to and it corrected the time. I will wait to see if it readjusts in the spring. The second thing to adjust is to add 20 minutes to the Dhuhr. Unfortunately, the app places the time of Dhuhr at exactly at exactly a forbidden time according to Sharīa which is Istiwā or Solar noon. This is when the sun is at its height, and the shadows are the smallest. Make sure you add 20 minutes in the advanced settings. You can download the Sundial app to know exactly when solar noon is. Update: Developer responded with a one-liner telling me that I failed to insert a colon between “Automatic” and “Off”. That’s all they chose to respond to in my detailed review above. Go figure.
Can’t imagine my life without it
For about a month now the time is showing the wrong time of prayer fore sample magrib time is 53:17 and aser time is 26:12 I’ve tried to do many things but it’s not fixing the problem.
This app is inaccurate and incapable of keeping up with prayer schedule while you’re on the go. It’s completely unreliable.
