This might be one of the worst airline apps out there gives you no useful information within the app. Everything takes you to an external browser. Tab within the app make this functionality work seamlessly please….

Completely useless app. If you CAN sign it, it has limited information and functionality. Not like AA’s app.

App is decent but clunky and non-intuitive. Big minus is that it doesn’t always include your boarding time or notifications of when your group is boarding, especially when you’re not in the UK.

Better than previous builds but not quite there yet. First, it’s still exceedingly painfully slow for 2026 standards running in an iP17 Pro Max. The navigation is a bit complicated than I would expect. Simplify views and collapse everything else that are not must-knows or need-to-knows data. Simplify menus. Make it streamlined: menu item, submenu item, and so on (not a menu item that exists as submenu item, then it appears as submenu item elsewhere in a submenu. I get confused with data the app shows me and data shown in a webpage, supposedly they should be the same content. The app does not seem in synch with the website. The app shows me outdated info, even shows canceled itinerary preferentially over the active itinerary. I find myself deleting and re-installing the app to force it to synch.

I had to upload the passport info three separate times and never was able to check in nor get my Boarding pass and when I went to the airport they didn’t not have the passport info and had to input it again. I tried to contact British Air costumer service but there was no number listed. So I had to ask Chat GTP for the info. At the airport I never received the gate info on my app.

I don’t know who rated this app specifically at higher than 1 star - it barely functions and for everything just redirects you to a website. This is not a rating for flight experience but for the iOS app experience. BA - you should do much better!

I am unable to update my information through app or website. It asks for US address on hotel stay? We live in the US we have no hotel stay. It refuses to accept my home address? No clue but I keep getting notifications my trip requires attention and info Is missing.?

Any valuable piece of information is hidden, often behind multiple taps. Want to know your next flight date & time? Progress on tier points? Which passengers are on a booking? All of that is requires diving in and out of a variety of menus. Most of the tabs are long lists of menus, which feels overwhelming. And the majority of the app is web views - slow loading, poorly formatted info. Why even make an app at all? The old app was mediocre at best, and this one is somehow worse.

The new app is abysmal. Thought that it was impossible to make an app with less functionality than the previous version but here we are. Can’t believe THIS is what was talked about for years by BA. Doesn’t seem like the money was well spent

Tried to update passenger details - failed twice. Tried to give in-app feedback - nothing happens. No option for multiple passports for one person Doesn’t give a seating map after seats are assigned
