Wipr blocks ads, popups, trackers, cookie warnings, and other nasty things that make the web slow and ugly. Websites in Safari will look clean, load fast, and stop invisibly tracking you. You’ll notice significant improvements to your battery life and data usage. Setup is a snap. The Filtr add-on extends Wipr’s blocking to all apps on your device. It acts at the network level, but unlike a VPN, it can access none of your data, and can be used in conjunction with VPNs, iCloud Private Relay, and custom DNS. Wipr’s blocklist is updated twice a week automatically, and has enhanced versions for the following languages: Bosnian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Macedonian, Malay, Montenegrin, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese. Wipr is a universal app: install it on all your devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro) with a single purchase. It’s fully accessible with VoiceOver, Voice Control, and more. Dark, Tinted, and Clear icon variants are included. Family Sharing is supported. Im not sure if im just an idiot or if it just doesn’t work. I followed the instructions and it hasn’t blocked a single ad.
I expected to see the equivalent performance from Wipr2 with Filtr as I receive from AdGuard for Mac. Unfortunately, this app cuts my browser speeds in half. Also, you state that Filtr is compatible with iCloud Private Relay (which it is) and with DNS apps (it is NOT). Overall, I think it was a complete waste of money upgrading to Filtr.
I’ve been an avid PC user since 1992 and moved into the “Applesphere” about 2006. In all those years, I have never used such a complete, no-nonsense, effective, easy-to-use, and affordable ad blocker. Kudos and thank you to the developers!

This is an effective and lightweight ad blocker. You just set it and forget it. Paid for Wipr 1 years and and bought 2. Still excellent app. Add to this the Filtr update, and it’s even better.

I got the app and it didn’t work so I thought maybe I’ll get Filtr and nope nothing works. I did everything correctly but it just seems like the app is no good anymore.
Love this ad blocker. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because, on my MacBook, this ad blocker (when activated) would occasionally make my address bar disappear. I had to go into settings and restore it. Doesn’t happen all the time, but I thought my computer was hacked or something 😅
Great app :) New 'Filtr' feature gave internet exchange a nice speed bump, thanks!! Dig the regular updates....

…and download this app immediately ! This is the absolute best blocker on Apple devices, and I have tried them all (almost, no joke) Straightforward, no clutter and visibly made by a dev who definitely knows what she’s doing. Worth every penny.
