Pawp: 24/7 Vet & Pet Care

It’s helpful to talk to a vet and they can recommend some treatment before you take your pet in. Also the emergency pet coverage was big my dog passed and they did cover a portion of the treatment that was trying to save her life

I have had the emergency insurance for both my frenchies for 4 years now, haven’t had to use it until recently I did need vet assistance and it was convenient to be able to consult with a vet virtually, paid $35 to get a prescription consultation for my dogs (needed two separate appts though even though my dogs are same breed /weight & had same issue so that sucked) wanted a flea & tick prescription because saw over counter medications aren’t very helpful & still pretty pricy so figured I’d invest in prescribed medication. Vet was wonderful and quick. The prescription is for online pharmacy like Walmart or chewy online so if you want to pick up in person to avoid time like me you have to reach out to Pawp support via email which I don’t like as it takes time. Wish they had Pawp chat customer service or phone customer service. The first time I reached support via email heard within 3 hours but then when they stated they sent prescription & Costco pharmacy confirmed they didn’t and I responded back to their email now it’s been almost 24 hours and I’ve had to follow up since I am choosing in person pharmacy as I urgently need the prescription versus waiting for them to be shipped but if customer service takes time to respond defeats the purpose. I even wrote in subject pharmacy pick up in person request so they know the urgency. The app itself is also confusing to navigate on how to speak to a vet, very limited on settings you don’t know what email you are using for that app. It feels like they made it very limited & not easy to access in reaching out a vet or other features. But so far at least their insurance is reasonable for emergency insurance & it was very convenient to have a vet virtual appt option.

You cannot get any prescriptions for your dog depending on the state and they don’t tell you that until after purchasing a $99 subscription

Love Pawp! Can’t always afford to take my animals to the vet for little issues and this app helps me save money and give me peace of mind. Also this app lets me know if my fur babies need to be seen by an actual vet and if not what I can get to help them with a minor issue.

My baby girl has a limp, what do I do? Well I used the services provided with the Pawp app and it was God send! I’m so glad I signed up for this via my Walmart +. It’s a great service, take advantage if you have doggy’s that you adore!

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Pawp. I have Walmart+ and have spent the last two weeks trying to link my accounts to access the pet benefit, with no success. Customer support has been extremely disappointing. Most responses feel like automated AI replies that don’t actually address my questions, and when I did connect with real representatives, they eventually stopped responding altogether. There’s also no phone number available, which makes it impossible to escalate or resolve anything quickly. On top of that, the app itself is not user-friendly or intuitive. The process to redeem or link benefits is unclear and leads you in circles without real guidance. What’s even more concerning is that the poor experience is ongoing. I continue to reach out for help and still receive no response. At this point, it feels like there’s no real support behind the service. Overall, this has been a horrible experience. If Pawp can’t reliably handle basic customer inquiries, it’s hard to trust them to respond when it truly matters like in an urgent situation involving my pet. Would not recommend based on my experience.
