Owlet Dream

Love this product, gives me peace of mind on nights that feel hard and nights that I’m just anxious. Would buy this all over again.

We’ve used the owlet sock for almost a year. We’ve had lots of issues with having to force restart the app because it just spins and spins. We recently got an owlet cam to record clips and, despite paying for owlet 360, we cannot watch clips because the app just spins. Even if we download clips to our phones they will not play. It might be one of the worst apps and most frustrating things- I pay for a subscription and all this cool tech and can’t even use it- it’s basically pointless.

This review is not necessarily bad but it’s about how this app could use this improvement. I’ll be short and sweet. I have this app, well because I use the Owlet Dream cam and sock for my child. The app is installed on both my iPhone and iPad, the screen orientation works fine, not great on the iPhone but on my iPad, it doesn’t. When in either portrait or landscape orientation on iPad, it is never full screen. It basically works as though it is mirroring the app from a phone onto the iPad. This is not an acceptable feature. This interface orientation changes need to be improved. Thanks. PS. I have screenshots if needed, just can’t add it here.

The camera function stops working and will not come back in for days. Search for a model with an actual monitor

The sock itself gives us peace of mind. The app is very glitchy. I pay for the subscription and the nightly rating messes up multiple times a week and also sometimes the stats glitch displaying. They need to do major updates to the app.

We love our owlet! It gives us so much peace of mind while the baby is sleeping which allows us to get sleep too! We have gotten alerts about baby’s oxygen levels which was a little scary but grateful that it actually works. Highly recommend, especially for first time parent.

I have really enjoyed having the Owlet Dream for my son. It gives be a peace of mind knowing that I can see how he is and how he is sleeping throughout the night. I hope other parents are able to find it useful to them.

Honestly a great way to ease the mind of a mom. It would’ve been 5 stars but the app always seems to have a hard time keeping up. First I thought it was my wifi but replaced my router to just be sure. Unfortunately that didn’t help but the app seems to struggle a lot with connecting with my server for wifi. I depend on the camera now that my girls sleep on their own & having to reset it every other night is just becoming a hassle, not a fan of it right now.

We use it mostly for the monitor and it’s very unreliable. It will sit and spin forever on one of my kids but load for the other. It’s not my wifi or neither would load. We needed up having to buy a second camera for piece of mind at night.

At first it looks great but after the baby wakes the alarm that says the baby needs help to sleep keeps popping up every 1 minute or less while you are trying to put the baby back to sleep and completely defeats the purpose because it makes so much noise and there is no way to stop it, I can't calm my baby and press a button every 1 minute is insane.

This product eased my anxiety and allowed me to finally sleep at night!
