Control playback, speed (& more) of web videos in Safari - with this clever web extension. The Vidimote upgrades for your video watching experience: • SPEEEED: watch videos at up to 2 x original speed, finely adjustable in 5% steps. Save time watching videos - without missing out on any content. Or watch a live stream's recorded part at increased speed - until you're "back to live". • CONTROL: jump ±10 seconds, use the position slider and - of course - play and pause. • SKIP: quickly skip to the end of a video you don't want to see • ACTUAL TIME REMAINING: see how much _actual_ time remains to the end of the video - adjusted to the playback speed. • LIVE STREAM CLOCK: see the approximate clock time for your current position in the live stream, making it really easy to find f.ex. the beginning of a show. • PICTURE IN PICTURE (PiP): move web videos to picture in picture - and continue watching while using other apps. • FULLSCREEN: enlarge web videos to fullscreen. • MUTE/UNMUTE: mute and unmute web videos. SUPPORTED WEBSITES Vidimote was written and designed to work with HTML5 web videos everywhere - and in our testing it has, including the websites of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Twitch, TED.com, Udemy, Khan Academy, MagentaTV, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, Facebook, ownCloud, Nextcloud, Dropbox, Amazon Drive, Google Drive and OneDrive. Given the sheer number of websites out there, however, we can't guarantee that Vidimote works with every single web video out there. If you run into a video where it doesn't work, please let us know via our website's contact/support form.

Tried a few options but this is really the best. Fast developer response as well… very happy. I love that I can change the max video speed beyond 2x in the settings. Dope!
I installed this extension and forgot about it, eventually I noticed my Safari was incredibly laggy, both on iOS and Mac. Certain sites like Reddit were especially unusable. Turns out this extension was the culprit. I don’t know why, but this app clearly isn’t well-made. Would not recommend
I’d really love to change this review, but it doesn’t serve the one function I purchased for. When using this to Airplay lots of videos, it only casts the audio, same issue with the internal Airplay button.
It’s the lil things in life, being able to fast forward through an automated product online commercial /online ads/infomercial and giving you the capacity to get to the point of it and watch the aforementioned titles in the whole screen without the browser search bar on top or bottom !!! - JUST that is worth the price of this app, thank you so much like seriously and genuinely appreciated! And this was in the last two minutes of using it hahaha LOVING IT!!!!
I don't see the airplay button. Ugh!
I really needed playback controls with Safari's PiP player and this app delivers. Super useful and for such a reasonable price.
Vidimote is worth it for this feature alone but being able to set speeds above the default 2x also handy for audio content (eg podcasts, where the video doesn’t matter).
pip 모드를 켜는 단축키는 업데이트 안되나요? 일단 트위치에서 이상없이 잘 동작하는게 무척 마음에 드네요
