Love my skylight phone frame.

I hardly ever leave reviews but Skylight is deserving of the 5mins. This thing has become our single source of calendar truth. We were missing parties, birthdays, double booking ourselves, everything you can think of… before we got the calendar. The pictures, recipes, tasks, chores, lists, etc are just icing on the cake really. We got it as a gift but if it somehow disappeared tomorrow, I’d buy another one with expedited shipping.

So easy to setup and use. The hardest parts so far have been picking your color and syncing with Alexa. Can’t wait to do the meal planning.

I really wanted to love the Skylight Calendar because the concept is fantastic. The calendar itself is helpful for keeping our family organized, and the task/chore feature was one of the main reasons we purchased it. Unfortunately, the task system has been a constant source of frustration. No matter how carefully I set up recurring chores and assignments for my children, the tasks eventually become inaccurate. Chores will duplicate unexpectedly, children end up being assigned the same task multiple times, or the workload becomes uneven between family members. Instead of helping us manage responsibilities, I often find myself spending extra time troubleshooting and correcting assignments. Another challenge is the lack of visibility into upcoming chores for each child. When trying to review responsibilities, there doesn’t appear to be a simple way to see a clear overview of all future assigned tasks for an individual child. Instead, I have to manually check day by day, which is time-consuming and makes it difficult to verify that assignments are correct. The idea behind the feature is excellent, but the execution needs improvement. More reliable recurring task management, better prevention of duplicate assignments, and a dedicated child-specific task overview would make this feature much more useful for families. I hope Skylight continues improving the chore system because it has the potential to be one of the strongest features of the platform.

Love the system for family life and the ease of adding events. MY ONLY GRIPE IS THERD ARE ZERO ALERT OR REMINDER OPTIONS FOR IMPORTANT EVENTS. Skylight can you build that into the phone app? Meal planning, tasks and chores with reward system helps motivate the kids and encourages autonomy. Love the sidekick too!

Very confused why you can assign stars to tasks in the mobile app, but cannot via the main Skylight Calendar display. Why would I need to use my phone to use all functionalities of the Calendar display…

Skylight is constantly adding new features to keep it relevant and remarkably useful!

Not off to a good start with this. It is not recognizing my email. I set up an account with, and when it sends me a verification code, it tells me it’s wrong. I have gone through this five times and I cannot get in to start up my Skylight

Best device to keep my family organized

We’ve considered paying for the subscription, but it’s pretty buggy… EVERY TIME I go to update an event it give me an error saying the record can’t be found… been happening for a while now.

Great for the kids to check off chores, calendar is different than iCal to add events but getting used to it!
