Had this app since first version and love it! Great to share recipes and love the sync between devices.

This has worked great for years with no issues. This month has been a problem. I tried again today and it just hangs up. Please update this!!!

I have used Paprika for well over a decade. It’s an amazing recipe manager. Unfortunately it no longer works properly. It has a built-in browser for downloading recipes from the internet, but that no longer works. Thinking that there might be an issue with the app in my phone, u deleted it and then downloaded it again. I went to sign in and cannot. It’s not connecting to the paprika server. I fear that this developer is no more.

I’ve been using this app since July 2011 — 13+ years (1700+ recipes and counting). I purchased a desktop version and an iPad version for my kitchen … they all sync together. I use the iPad in the kitchen almost every day. Well worth the price!!

This has been my go-to recipe app for years with absolutely no problems. For the last month or so, it randomly will not import recipes - just get a spinning wheel. Contacted support - heard nothing. But then it did work for a few days. Then today, it is even worse. Getting “server maintenance” and “recipe can’t be imported from this site” and “not working.” It sticks in the spinning wheel for a long time unless you kill the app. Eventually it works but it takes up a long time. The app has also started kicking me out occasionally while having these problems. But there apparently is no support so I cannot recommend.

Not syncing

I have been using this app for a very long time with a five star experience. But lately, the app has been very buggy. It refuses to download recipes even after I clear the cash and does not sync properly between my devices.

Seems Paprika is no longer downloading NYTCooking recipes! Have the latest iOS software updates! This is really not good! I LOVE this app but downloading recipes even from the browser is not working!

Every time I try to use it lately it spins and says downloading but it does nothing. Eventually it crashes. Not sure if this is due to an Apple update or what.

Love the idea of this app. Wish they wouldn’t allow duplicate links. Also, the last few days I can’t get any new recipes onto the app. Gives me an error or keeps spinning and never uploads the recipe.

Would like to be able to the bookmarks a bit better. I’d like to separate Vegan and non-vegan websites, or web pages that are recipes vs. tips and tricks, etc

I’ve never been a big cooker but I always saved recipes, telling myself I’d make them “some day”. That day came when I got this app and was finally able to organize them all so nicely. The conversion chart is so useful, as is the automatic timer feature when it detects times in the directions. The only thing I would ask for I think is a way to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius and back. I live in a Celsius country, but the recipes I get are almost all in Fahrenheit for the oven temp. Sure would be useful if there was a way to automatically convert that so I didn’t have to google it every time! My only minor nitpick about an otherwise super useful app.
